Hi, loving your content. Just a question about the black and decker steam iron, doesn't the steam wet/soak the carpet and affect the adhesion of the seam tape underneath? Thank in advance

Thank you! It's kind of like using a steam iron on clothing, It gets the carpet damp but not soaking wet.
With some carpets it does affect the carpet backing and damages the carpet though so I no longer use that iron as much.

Can I use an iron if I just need to repair a small spot in my carpet ?

You sure can, just make sure to use a white terry towel and keep it damp so you don't burn your carpet.
