MORGEN DEMBO & BARURA EXPRESS - YAVE (LIVE)

Brothers Mogeni & Tendai reunited on the stage 28 April 2023 Kulez Bar (Harare St & Charter St, CBD - Harare, ZW)
A week previous, I had the chance to travel with the barura boys from shows in Machipisa on a Saturday to Chirumhanzu in Masvingo province on Sunday for the Musorowenyoka memorial show. I'll never forget seeing Mogeni walk out on the stage in Machipisa, the spirit of his father, how the crowd roared. Even my taxi driver said "my wife thinks I'm working, but I'm staying for this show!". Truly a group who brings the country together!!!
En route to Chirumhanzu, the trailer hitch broke twice on our kombi! We had to search the rural areas for a welder on Easter Sunday, twice! After a 12 hour delay the boys still played early into the morning. They are the STEEL of CHIRUMHANZU , the PRIDE of BARURA MOUNTAIN.
I didn't get much footage of the Easter Weekend, I was just living in the moment ... making memories.
Anyway ... here is the boys the following weekend. My friend Tendai Mhlanga came to watch with me. Shoutout to him
