An award-winning short film shot on iPhone 14 Pro.
As an actuary, 3 data scientists and a sound engineer we aren't film-makers by trade but each of us feel a calling for creative work. Our intention for the project was just to have fun and explore story-telling through film. We hope by sharing this we can inspire others to realise that you too can make a cool film with simple equipment and a clear vision.
Our film, "Fowl Play," managed to sweep 7 awards from 13 nominations at the Johannesburg 48 Hour Film Project awards ceremony, including the title of Best Film for 2023!
