    A lot of people haven't picked up that Ayan Allahverdiyeva is blankly staring ahead of her, and not at Divya. This brings out the human side of both players. Ayan was distraught, Divya was kind to her.

      You're right.. she is staring ahead of her and not at Divya. Those who are saying otherwise are belittling this young chess player.
      Good win Divya

    Tough luck for ayan. It's like Nepo's "...c5? Is he nuts?!" blunder😅 Chess is hard man. You spend hours grinding a good position and try to win or draw, only for a single, brief moment of being out of focus to lose you the game. That's really gutwrenching.
    Wish her the best in the next tournament. Divya is doing great though, congrats to her.

    Why to say sorry? Divya Deshmukh played brilliantly and won the watch🧡and moreover Ayan Allahverdiyeva is always staring at Divya, I personally think its ill mannered and I hate when someone does that

    no need to be judgy over this, prolly ayan has some backstory of how imp this would be for her and divya played a good strong game. Pressure makes us behave what we don't under normal circumstances. Let it go!

    Just resign. Classic thinking after the blunder instead of before. Happens to everyone but don’t make someone sit and cry with you. Just shake their hand and say thanks for the lesson

    Staring for so long is rude no matter the occasion. The awkwardness was so thick it could be cut with a knife. Just accept that you blundered your knight and move on. There are no undo buttons in chess

    She should have instead said Good Game so that the opponent would at least think they played fine until that blunder, kind of comforting
    BTW following moves were just brilliant🤩 instead of going for a queen trade going for the mate is just another level Savage
    Opponent was waiting for her to blunder the Queen NGL i was too😅
    This made my day great game Kudos to both the players❤

    I think Divya shouldn't have returned to the table right after Ayan did. She should have waited until Ayan was done processing the blunder she just made. But just look at the stare Ayan's giving her.. HoW DaRe YoU SpOt My bLuNdEr? 😠 Women ☕😂

    Why say sorry?
    Ayan was staring shamelessly at Divya for a very long time...that was very rude and ill mannered. It is time Indian sportspersons stopped being nice to everyone.
    Ayan played badly and lost.
    Simple.

      Are you kidding? Despite the rating difference, Ayan was winning and then the position turned into a drawn one.
      Mistakes happen to everyone, it was the 40th move and she was upset about the draw. She probably was not very careful, she just wanted to make some random move and go wash her face.
      And she was not staring at Divya, she was lost in thoughts and staring into the distance. You can clearly see that when Divya moves, Ayan’s eyes stay fixed at one point , she is just frozen, trying to process the mistake.
      If anyone is mean, it is the people in the comments, literally hating on a 19 year old girl.

    Ayan is a weak player strangely. I don't know how she got WIM title. She even doesn't know that the most important thing in chess is the King's safety. She played with her King instead hiding her king behind her pawns and playing with major and minor pieces.

    Why Divya is IM not WIM

    • @DarkDemonSider
      @DarkDemonSider 16 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      What do you mean why? Because she is an IM. Her IM title takes precedence over her WIM title.

    • @shawnjose8096
      @shawnjose8096 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      She has 2400 plus rating and req. norms 4 the IM title...

    • @kirtikanth
      @kirtikanth 16 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      IM is higher in ranking than WIM.. In fact an IM is higher in ranking than WGM.. So IM Divya Deshmukh is a stronger player than most WGM players on papers.. However, it will always boil down to playing on board, holding your nerves and a lot of other factors as well.
