I found it more beneficial to go wherever the word hood fast to you and that was when I met your channel and every since then I stopped going to church. Pastor Breaker, I've been hearing from some Christians that the Body of Christ will be divided into those who are worthy to live in the New Jerusalem and those who will not be permitted access. Moreover, I was told that this will be determined by how many rewards each one of us has. If there is evidence of this in the scriptures can you please direct me to the verses that prove this? My husband's grandfather died the end of 79. He had a Methodist funeral. It was the worst funeral or anything id been to up til then as i had been raised in Bible believing,God loving church. All i remember from that funeral, is the Methodist minister, likening grandpa to a duck in the ocean. My husband's family, for the most part, weren't saved. His uncle, grandpa's son, was saved and tried to convert him. He'd say that he'd do it on his deathbed. Only God knows, but ill never forget.

Maybe he'll speak more on it. Think that must be "the transfiguration". Starting Luke 9:27 and Mark 9:1-8. Also John was taken up and shown things (Revelation).

@@reneange Look at the pattern and maybe that will help. Each Time it's said that some will see Him coming in his kingdom, it's followed by some going up the mountain to see the transfiguration. Luke 9:27-35, Mark 9:1-3 and Matt 17. It illustrates the Second Coming, not the rapture.
Great message I have a different theory though I believe that you have to consider the location where he was talking to Peter he was by Mount Herman. I think he’s going to build his temple on top of Mount Herman, which is like the most idle worship location in the Bible, and when he said the gate of Hades will not prevail, that’s because the cave in Mount Herman is called the gate of Hades right now, just a thought

Hey Robert.... so my best friend has gone a weird way with her faith. She has now turned to indulging in the book of Revelation. She's using the KJV I think, but.... she's following a Catholic pastor and his interpretation. Now, after a few months of not attending church with me... I told her that I'm going to step back and allow her to have space. She seems determined to prove to herself that she isn't worthy of God's grace in Heaven. I don't have anyone else to ask on this front. She won't even have a conversation about the Bible or religion with me because she's ready to argue with me, and she just says if we talk about that then I'm just going to piss you off- yet, we went to church together for months. I'm so confused. And still... her life is falling apart as well. It's so sad.

Personal I have been through similar circumstances with my older sibling. And because he wrongly misinterprets the Bible we no longer talk. I pray for him daily that God will send someone to him that will preach the Gospel of Salvation to him and that he would have ears to hear and a heart to listen and whatever trials or tribulations that comes into his life. Luke 24:41-44 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them. These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled Vs. 51 he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. It hit me as I was reading this evening. They saw him coming into his kigdom.

One thing i find interesting is that while you concluded the discussion of the leavening comparison to false doctrines.. you slipped in a comment about kjv being the only translation we should be using. Seems to me you have a bit of leavening in your doctrine concerning the type of scripture we read. Im not saying the kjv is bad but its also not perfect if you compare it to the greek and hebraic texts. Theres actually a few other translations that are nearly congruent to the old translations. My question to you is, if i read something like NIV, NLT, ESV, am i recieving a false doctrine? If you answer yes.. well i think you should pray on that one brother. He has several videos on why KJV. You might be surprised how much has changed in modern versions. Some modern Bibles have contradictions and completely left out verses. It's a good study. Gail Riplinger does a good video on this topic too if you're interested.
The apostles would have done well to heed the advice of Jesus (the Rabbi) and put an immediate halt to allowing Pharisees into the church starting with the priests who were joining up in Acts 6. That political influence ruined the church at Jerusalem and probably cost Paul his life.

Rewards based on works is a thread that runs through the New Testament. You cannot rightly filter that out. There are degrees of punishment and degrees of reard and that is NOT in violation of the doctrine of Justification by Faith. For the same apostle who said, "...his faith is counted for righteousness.", also said, "Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour." (1 Cor. 3:8) Rev. 20:13 - And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. We are saved by grace through faith but where we wind up in the hereafter is based on what we do (for better or worse). For we shall all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ (as it is written).

I've been hearing from some Christians that the Body of Christ will be divided into those who are worthy to live in the New Jerusalem and those who will not be permitted access. Moreover, I was told that this will be determined by how many rewards each one of us has. If there is evidence of this in the scriptures can you please direct me to the verses that prove this? My husband's grandfather died the end of 79. He had a Methodist funeral. It was the worst funeral or anything id been to up til then as i had been raised in Bible believing,God loving church. All i remember from that funeral, is the Methodist minister, likening grandpa to a duck in the ocean. My husband's family, for the most part, weren't saved. His uncle, grandpa's son, was saved and tried to convert him. He'd say that he'd do it on his deathbed. Only God knows, but ill never forget.

Maybe he'll speak more on it. Think that must be "the transfiguration". Starting Luke 9:27 and Mark 9:1-8. Also John was taken up and shown things (Revelation).

@@reneange Look at the pattern and maybe that will help. Each Time it's said that some will see Him coming in his kingdom, it's followed by some going up the mountain to see the transfiguration. Luke 9:27-35, Mark 9:1-3 and Matt 17. It illustrates the Second Coming, not the rapture.

Hey Robert.... so my best friend has gone a weird way with her faith. She has now turned to indulging in the book of Revelation. She's using the KJV I think, but.... she's following a Catholic pastor and his interpretation. Now, after a few months of not attending church with me... I told her that I'm going to step back and allow her to have space. She seems determined to prove to herself that she isn't worthy of God's grace in Heaven. I don't have anyone else to ask on this front. She won't even have a conversation about the Bible or religion with me because she's ready to argue with me, and she just says if we talk about that then I'm just going to piss you off- yet, we went to church together for months. I'm so confused. And still... her life is falling apart as well. It's so sad.

Personal I have been through similar circumstances with my older sibling. And because he wrongly misinterprets the Bible we no longer talk. I pray for him daily that God will send someone to him that will preach the Gospel of Salvation to him and that he would have ears to hear and a heart to listen and whatever trials or tribulations that comes into his life. I pray that God will use that to bring him to the Truth of Salvation.

It's what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us that we're saved and it's by faith alone, not works. We're forgiven for all sins by the Lord Jesus Christ's shed blood. Amen!! Remember to study and rightly divide the word of truth (2 Tim. 2: 15 KJV).

One thing i find interesting is that while you concluded the discussion of the leavening comparison to false doctrines.. you slipped in a comment about kjv being the only translation we should be using. Seems to me you have a bit of leavening in your doctrine concerning the type of scripture we read. Im not saying the kjv is bad but its also not perfect if you compare it to the greek and hebraic texts. Theres actually a few other translations that are nearly congruent to the old translations. My question to you is, if i read something like NIV, NLT, ESV, am i recieving a false doctrine?

He has several videos on why KJV. You might be surprised how much has changed in modern versions. Some modern Bibles have contradictions and completely left out verses. It's a good study. Gail Riplinger does a good video on this topic too if you're interested.

The apostles would have done well to heed the advice of Jesus (the Rabbi) and put an immediate halt to allowing Pharisees into the church starting with the priests who were joining up in Acts 6. That political influence ruined the church at Jerusalem and probably cost Paul his life.

Please learn the term, Essenes. Emphasis on the second syllable. There is much speculation that Jesus and John the Baptist were influenced by this group. Learning about them would give you an opportunity to address that.

Rewards based on works is a thread that runs through the New Testament. You cannot rightly filter that out. There are degrees of punishment and degrees of reard and that is NOT in violation of the doctrine of Justification by Faith. For the same apostle who said, "...his faith is counted for righteousness.", also said, "Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour." (1 Cor. 3:8)
Rev. 20:13 - And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
We are saved by grace through faith but where we wind up in the hereafter is based on what we do (for better or worse). For we shall all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ (as it is written).

I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over them. May they hear the gospel and give their hearts to Christ. I pray that none will perish but have eternal life through Christ Jesus.
