    I just finished reading the book "DIRT SAILORS" By RAYMOND HUNTER PYLE. It's a great book about the Seabees role in Vietnam. Many people don't know how important you guys were in that war. The book has you deep in the jungles of Vietnam and being attacked like everyone else. And you guys delivered supplies and build almost anything from a fence, an outhouse, or bunkar. My salute to you for your service. I love your show. I'm a 72 year old xLEO enjoying retirement. Your videos make me add a new flag on my map; another destination for my future trips. Thank you.

      Hi Idnhantu2day, Thank you for the kind words of support. I really do appreciate it. Seabees are a proud group that was pretty small compared to the the others. That's why we have the saying "Never say goodbye, Always see ya later" because chances are you would be seeing friends again in other deployments. I haven't read "Dirt Sailors" yet but I will. Thank you for sharing and keep enjoying the retirement!

    You made me stay up late tonight. I couldn't stop watching your video. I was disappointed that you couldn't see the remodel house at the end. Best review of Tombstone I've seen.

    Tombstone was always a favorite trip for us on Black Friday's. Our family chose to play in Tombstone while everyone else waited in lines and duked it out for deals! Memories of those trips always outlast any deal on a flatscreen anytime!
    Thanks for your work Randy, and thanks for your Service!
    Have a good 'un!

      Hi Titaniumgrayson, Boot hill really shows how rough Tombstone was back in the day. A lot of em died with their boots on. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

    That was a fun and interesting trip into Tombstone..... I'm an American history buff and love visiting sites that make our history real..... I'm amazed at how tough our ancestors were, most now couldn't survive the conditions these people lived in, and how much bigger, taller, we have gotten.... When working in Northern Virginia I spent many weekends in DC, I visited Ford's Theater and the room across the alley where Lincoln died.. He was known to be a tall man but bed was so small as was the room he died in......
    Glad you were able to make this video and not get soaking wet 😂😂😂😂
    As always thanks for taking us along and see you again soon

      Hi Kajunguy, To walk around a place like this that is world known is kinda surreal. It's alway interesting to see how small some of these places are in reality vs a huge movie set. Thanks for sharing and have a great week!

    Super fun video--thank you for sharing. I sometimes wonder if some the cities around Arizona are worth the drive for me to see, so I think it's cool to see them a little before hand to decide. Bit like a chest sheet video. Also, it's not too dark in your videos--it's actually very good. Old places like this never really seem to have the best lighting anyway. Stay safe Randy.🌵🌩

      Hi AH, Thank you for the kind words and I hope you get to see some of these places in person. The sounds and smells while you are actually there adds to the experience. You stay safe as well and have a great day!

    I believe that large round object in the shed next to the courthouse was actually a safe.

    Yaaaay good spot. Are these walks senior friendly ? I’m not ancient but …….

    • @SeabeeTraveler
      @SeabeeTraveler  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi IamValentina, The walks are easy but the older original buildings like the courthouse only have stairs. If stairs aren't problem for you you'll do fine. Thank you and have a great day!

    At 20:40 I believe that is a safe. It is cannon ball shaped to withstand the efforts of breaching by black power?

    • @titaniumgrayson
      @titaniumgrayson 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Correct! Rectangular safes are easy to crack with dynamite. The 'Ol Timers got a lot of silver out of the mines back in the day.

      Hi Billfries, That makes sense, especially in a town as rough as this one was. Thank you for sharing and have a great day!
