I am sure I have walked past this Bar Esquina in Quesada on my travels. Must make a point of trying it after your recommendation about the large portions. I love my pies just like Mike does and its rather refreshing that you are honest about what type of food you really like. I really like looking at this video like many of your videos which are down to earth and filled with humour. The Adam ant jokes went down really well and I just like the way you can make light humour in anticipation of a good meal. Keep up the good work and don't change anything. 👍😒😒
Thank you again Mr Scarlo, you obviously share my sense of humour. We just film ourselves out and about and what you see is what you get, although I edit out all the bad jokes...lol. Best wishes, Mike and Yvonne.
Love going up to Quesada, always visit the fish and chip shop there with the snooker hall attached to it. Food is really good in there. Great video guys keep up the good work!
Hi Robert, thanks for watching and commenting. Love Quesada fish and chips, never been in the snooker club but it seems very busy. All the best Mike and Yvonne.
He heee... nice drive to Quesada, yes, I watch your from Quebec. I enjoyed much to watch every mile you drove on bike, I know it so well... hope to be peddling along there my self this winter ; ). (maybe need to find a secondhand bike though) thanks to the two of you for giving me a bit of heartwarming time towards and IN Quesada!
Hi Katherina, Thanks for watching and your nice comments. It's nice and flat in Torrevieja for riding the bike so you must give it a go as soon as you can. Best wishes, Mike and Yvonne.
You guys are nuts, always make me laugh, enjoyed watching you both in Quesada, I have lived here for 3 years now and have never looked back, next time your here try Yoku for a lovely lunch at great value and views of pink lakes from upstairs terrace.
Morning Mike & Yvonne 🤩 We’ve been to Quesada a few times and thought of buying a house there 🤔 But thought it was a little too build up for us but still enjoy visiting sometimes like you guys have 👍🏻 Our little Spanish village of Sucina is still a Spanish working village with a small urbanisation that’s perfect for us 😀 It’s got plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, banks and all the usual bits & bobs that go with it 👍🏻 Take care cheers Stevie.
Hi Stevie, so pleased you are happy there and it suits your requirements. Everybody is different and what’s good for one may not be good for another. We get lots of people asking us where’s the best place to be in Costa Blanca and we always say the same thing, you must spend time looking yourself as only you will know when it’s right for you. Thanks for watching and commenting. Best wishes, Mike and Yvonne.
Dzień dobry ☺Naszym hobby jest też jazda na rowerze. Mamy nadzieję, że we wrześniu jak będziemy w Torrevieja to wybierzemy się gdzieś razem.Pozdrawiamy.☺
@@BetweenTheLakes It is 😊. We unfortunately go back to Stoke on Tuesday can’t wait to stay out here longer x Enjoy your biking & keep making your videos. It was lovely to meet you both x
Great see you both back out on the bikes. As the price of electricity keeps climbing, best plug the bikes in quickly. Had another electricity bill this week 5 euros more, even with the IVA reduction. Not been there to use any electricity anyway Stay safe and keep cycling All the best
Hi David, yes electric and gas proces going through the roof everywhere. We got a 15% discount from our supplier by signing up at one of the desks in Habaneras Shopping centre. It lasts for 4 months and we got a €30 voucher to spend in Leroy Merlin. We replaced all our bulbs for LED bulbs to save on running costs.
@@BetweenTheLakes yes I did the same both in U.K. and Spain. The wholesale price of electricity is now at the highest it’s ever been. It’s all about what not use now really. The whole world is so reliant on fuel if it be Petrol, diesel or electricity, but it all has to be produced. I can see us going back to horses, but even that is very expensive. When will it all end? When I was in Torrevieja back July, a couple of days were very, very hot and I turned on the Air Con, but it’s now very expensive to run The Spanish government have reduced the IVA so at least that is something. Look forward to seeing your next video, love your aerial shots when you do them All the best, happy holidays
Hi guys, Mike what drone do you use and what are the rules regarding drones in Spain, I'm thinking of buying DJI Mini 2 specifically for my trips to my apartment in Torrevieja
Hi Robbo, I have a Mini 2 because it's under 250gms and is less restricted than a heavier drone. You will need to get registered with Spain and pass an A1, A3 test within the EU. You can go with Ireland or I did it with Luxemburg. It's quite a complicated process but the test is straightforward. Have a look at: uavcoach.com/drone-laws-in-spain/ There's all you need to know to get started here. All the best Mike and Yvonne.
Hi guys. Good to see you both again. How much was your lunches ??They looked really nice 👍….How long did the bike ride take from El limonar to the quesada arches. 4 weeks and counting till we visit, can’t wait….stay safe, best wishes…Alan & Cher 🥳😎
Hi Alan, the Pie chips and peas was €7.95 and Yvonne's tuna salad with baked potato was €5.95. I think it was about 40 mins from Altos del Limonar. The food was great. All the best Mike and Yvonne.
