I am from West Bengal, I can ensure you that being a middle class family we are the first ones to endure the results of giving uncontrolled freebies. There has been no recruitment in schools in last 10 or so years. The existing govt employees are not getting DA and other allowances, sometimes not even their salaries. Devlopment of state has gone to hell. Medical colleges are at ruins, any body related to political party has at least 10s of crores of rupees in their homes.

I am belong to a farmer family. But I don't support "loan maaf yojna" because I saw in my village some people took the massive loans and did not repay (even his financial condition are so much good) to the banks and sad when the state election happens they will give loan Maaf Yojana again. So government should stop such Yojana or doing the perfect survey not only on paper on ground to benefit the needy one only.

Punjab and WB are two tops states with highest debt (both internal and external debt) Still both of the state governments are continuing to give freebies after freebies instead of infrastructure development and rapid industrialization.
And no one is blaming previous government for debt. On other hand if any government is loyal to its people and less corrupt and complete the infrastructure projects on time they can budget surplus. Don't have hope for other party but i am sure Punjab government will be going to reduce their debt before next election and if that happened.Punjab going to prosper in next decade for sure more than any state because of resources and farming.

Good healthcare, a certain amount of electricity units, good infrustructure of govt school should not be considered as freebies. These 3 are essential items, and if you want to not give these things to common people then stop giving the same to the ministers also. they enjoy good salary and pesion still getting freebies. First limit free petrol for ministers, limit free flight tickets to ministers, free unlimited electricity to ministers, free water to ministers. Common people pay tax and they enjoy. सिलेंडर, सब्सिडी और चुनाव का खेल। 2017 में यूपी का चुनाव होने वाला था।उसके उज्ज्वला योजना आरंभ हो चुकी थी लेकिन यूपी के चुनाव के समय उज्ज्वला पर 2017-18 के दौरान 23, 464 करोड़ की सब्सिडी दी गई। इससे लोगों के घर में सिलेंडर पहुंचा और खाना बनाने की आदत में बदलाव आने लगा। 2019 का लोकसभा चुनाव आया। यूपी चुनाव की सफलता को देखते हुए गैस सिलेंडर पर सब्सिडी की राशि बढ़ा दी है। 2018-19 के दौरान सरकार ने 37,209 करोड़ की सब्सिडी थी। उज्ज्वला योजना के लाभार्थी गदगद हो गए और सरकार को वोट भी ख़ूब मिला।चुनाव के बाद सब्सिडी में 13000 करोड़ की कमी कर दी गई। 2019-20 में 24,172 करोड़ ही सब्सिडी दी गई।2020-21 में सब्सिजी की रकम और कम हो गई। 11,896 करोड़ हो गई। 2018-19 की तुलना में 20,000 करोड़ की सब्सिडी बंद कर दी गई। चुनाव हो चुका था। वोट मिल गया था। काम हो गया था। अब सब्सिडी की रकम बंद कर दी जाती है। मई 2020 से लेकर मई 2022 कोई सब्सिडी नहीं दी गई है। 2021-22 में सब्सिडी की रकम 245 करोड़ ही रह गई। विपक्ष ने जब महंगाई का मुद्दा बनाया तब सरकार ने फिर उदारता दिखाई और मात्र 200 रुपये की सब्सिडी का एलान किया। इसके बाद भी सिलेंडर के दाम में कोई राहत नहीं आई है। 200 की सब्सिडी के बाद भी उज्ज्वला का सिलेंडर 853 रुपया है जो 2015 के दाम की तुलना में डबल है। दिल्ली में बिना सब्सिडी के सिलेंडर का दाम 1,053 रुपये है। इन दिनों प्रधानमंत्री रेवड़ियों के खिलाफ भाषण दे रहे हैं। इसमें ज़रूरी सब्सिडी को भी रेवड़ी समझ लिए जाने का ख़तरा है। आम लोग सिलेंडर नहीं भरा पा रहे, ऊपर से भाषण भी सुन रहे हैं कि रेवड़ी ठीक नहीं है। टोल टैक्स के रुप में जनता हर साल 40,000 करोड़ दे रही है। नितिन गडकरी कहते हैं कि सवा लाख करोड़ तक ले जाने का टारगेट है। पेट्रोल और डीज़ल पर उत्पाद शुल्क 60 से लेकर 100 प्रतिशत सरकार ने बढ़ाया, जनता ने 100 रुपये लीटर पेट्रोल और डीज़ल ख़रीदा, अब उसे लेक्चर दिया जा रहा है कि रेवड़ियां नहीं बंटनी चाहिए। वही जनता इस बहस में शामिल भी है। पहले खुद बहस को सेट नहीं करेंगे कि उनके लिए कहां तक सब्सिडी है, कहां तक चुनावी रेवड़ी है, एक दो लाइन कुछ हेडलाइन जैसा बोल कर बहस से ग़ायब हो जाएंगे। जैस्मिन निहलानी और विग्नेश राधाकृष्णन ने द हिन्दू अख़बार में सिलेंडर सब्सिडी के आँकड़ों का विश्लेषण किया है।

Granted that freebies must be controlled but the Govt. must also work FOR the people and not against them. Current establishment just wants to increase tax collection and build up the private sector. But I don't support "loan maaf yojna" because I saw in my village some people took the massive loans and did not repay (even his financial condition are so much good) to the banks and sad when the state election happens they will give loan Maaf Yojana again. Punjab and WB are two tops states with highest debt (both internal and external debt) Still both of the state governments are continuing to give freebies after freebies instead of infrastructure development and rapid industrialization.
And no one is blaming previous government for debt. On other hand if any government is loyal to its people and less corrupt and complete the infrastructure projects on time they can budget surplus. Don't have hope for other party but i am sure Punjab government will be going to reduce their debt before next election and if that happened.Punjab going to prosper in next decade for sure more than any state because of resources and farming.

These 3 are essential items, and if you want to not give these things to common people then stop giving the same to the ministers also. they enjoy good salary and pesion still getting freebies. First limit free petrol for ministers, limit free flight tickets to ministers, free unlimited electricity to ministers, free water to ministers. Common people pay tax and they enjoy. And when it comes to giving pension to common people they dont have money, giving permanent job in army they dont have money, for defence equipments they dont have money. This is ridiculous.

2017 में यूपी का चुनाव होने वाला था।उसके उज्ज्वला योजना आरंभ हो चुकी थी लेकिन यूपी के चुनाव के समय उज्ज्वला पर 2017-18 के दौरान 23, 464 करोड़ की सब्सिडी दी गई। इससे लोगों के घर में सिलेंडर पहुंचा और खाना बनाने की आदत में बदलाव आने लगा।
2019 का लोकसभा चुनाव आया। यूपी चुनाव की सफलता को देखते हुए गैस सिलेंडर पर सब्सिडी की राशि बढ़ा दी है। 2018-19 के दौरान सरकार ने 37,209 करोड़ की सब्सिडी थी। उज्ज्वला योजना के लाभार्थी गदगद हो गए और सरकार को वोट भी ख़ूब मिला।चुनाव के बाद सब्सिडी में 13000 करोड़ की कमी कर दी गई। 2019-20 में 24,172 करोड़ ही सब्सिडी दी गई।2020-21 में सब्सिजी की रकम और कम हो गई। 11,896 करोड़ हो गई। 2018-19 की तुलना में 20,000 करोड़ की सब्सिडी बंद कर दी गई।
चुनाव हो चुका था। वोट मिल गया था। काम हो गया था। अब सब्सिडी की रकम बंद कर दी जाती है। मई 2020 से लेकर मई 2022 कोई सब्सिडी नहीं दी गई है। 2021-22 में सब्सिडी की रकम 245 करोड़ ही रह गई। विपक्ष ने जब महंगाई का मुद्दा बनाया तब सरकार ने फिर उदारता दिखाई और मात्र 200 रुपये की सब्सिडी का एलान किया। इसके बाद भी सिलेंडर के दाम में कोई राहत नहीं आई है। 200 की सब्सिडी के बाद भी उज्ज्वला का सिलेंडर 853 रुपया है जो 2015 के दाम की तुलना में डबल है। दिल्ली में बिना सब्सिडी के सिलेंडर का दाम 1,053 रुपये है।
इन दिनों प्रधानमंत्री रेवड़ियों के खिलाफ भाषण दे रहे हैं। इसमें ज़रूरी सब्सिडी को भी रेवड़ी समझ लिए जाने का ख़तरा है। आम लोग सिलेंडर नहीं भरा पा रहे, ऊपर से भाषण भी सुन रहे हैं कि रेवड़ी ठीक नहीं है। टोल टैक्स के रुप में जनता हर साल 40,000 करोड़ दे रही है। नितिन गडकरी कहते हैं कि सवा लाख करोड़ तक ले जाने का टारगेट है। पेट्रोल और डीज़ल पर उत्पाद शुल्क 60 से लेकर 100 प्रतिशत सरकार ने बढ़ाया, जनता ने 100 रुपये लीटर पेट्रोल और डीज़ल ख़रीदा, अब उसे लेक्चर दिया जा रहा है कि रेवड़ियां नहीं बंटनी चाहिए। वही जनता इस बहस में शामिल भी है। पहले खुद बहस को सेट नहीं करेंगे कि उनके लिए कहां तक सब्सिडी है, कहां तक चुनावी रेवड़ी है, एक दो लाइन कुछ हेडलाइन जैसा बोल कर बहस से ग़ायब हो जाएंगे।
