This song is the pinnacle of my depression. It encapsulates all of the negativity that I feel. It's an audio representation of someone who has finally given up. Somone who has succumbed to the darkness.
Friend, with respect, but I believe this is not an underrated track. Ur Ångest Född by Hypothermia actually is a renowned song by many connoisseurs of dsbm (like yourself!). It is appraised as one of the best dsbm works by Kim Carlsson.
+MrALAGRANPUTA I very much agree... 'Counting Hours' in one of Hypothermia's best tracks. Indeed, highly underrated! Moreover, so is the entire 'Veins' album. Imo its one of the best releases by Hypothermia.
Translation of lyrics: Born from anxiety Rooted in the forgiving arms of darkness The scarring no longer a stain on your lacerated body For a perfection, reflecting your inside The blood that flowed, night and day
Update after a year, still holds a very special place in my heart. This track especially, absolutely shattering and soul tarnishing. Words cannot explain the utter anguish one feels during the 22 minutes of this song.
im glad you found Kims music. I can relate so much :) i listen to it since i am 18, now i am 33 and still come back to the same songs over and over like an old fried. Take care brother
This is one of those songs that are really hard-hitting. As in I listen to this when overcome with sadness and despair. When all hope is lost. When I can't feel anyting but pain. When I can't feel anyting at all. When I'm utterly overwhelmed with my emotions or lack there of. I even play this on my guitar during those times. The whole 22 minutes. I...I actually tried to kill myself while this song was playing one time I'm afraid to admit. So yeah I have a little history with it. Just wanted to talk about this a little but.
Depressive BM is kinda odd, because the best acts come from so different countries. Australia has some solid acts (Abyssic Hate & Austere), Brazil has Thy Light, Sweden has this whole Lifelover, Hypothermia & Shining thing going on and finland has a fair share of the best Funeral Doom bands. With every other genre you can just pretty much point the country on the map which produces most of the legends of it.
I think both are really good in their ways,. it is more ambient, tristam is more expressive. i prefer this one like an atmosphere. also is longer, regards

***** Do Av Ren Vilja is my favorite offering from Hypothermia...oh, how I wish it would get a proper release...

Undergången Hey there, where can I find the original? I can't seem to find it
Undergången thank you!
Possibly my favorite band right now. Nobody displays depression better than Hypothermia, I also love myself some Lifelover. Kim is an artist.

I love Hypothermia's work. And i know this obviously came first, but this sounds alot like early Sadness.. which i love.

When I die, this will be the soundtrack. I already have many scars after listening to it. Good work!

Hope you're feeling better man. I see your comments on a lot of hypothermia videos and wonder how you're doing now.
How are you? I admire the strength in your words and actions and i want to express my closeness to you and i empathize and feel you
Don't kill yourself bro
This is a fucking masterpiece!! It can not be summed up in words, but this is what anxiety/angst sounds like!
Yeah, makes you feel miserable and kinda enlighted at the same time.
Music heals all wounds.
someday I will have the courage to finally die while I listen to something as soothing as this
Sounds like the guitar is drowning.
That Cornucopia ov Nonexistence song is really deep...and painful. \m/
From Europe comes the best depressive and doom metal.
Usa also has a good dsbm and doom band.
@@giulio4115 Latin America too lol, there’s even a really good Xasthur/Burzum type band from Afghanistan. BM is universal.
@@giulio4115 "good" not the best though 😜

Is this a Tristram cover?
Or did Tristram cover hypothermia?
