Clear film does amazing job for protecting against rock chips and fading. I’ve used this method for many years and on many cars without issues. Happy with the outcome
@VITO'S GARAGE on a 190E I purchased there was film that was over 10 years old... it took 6 hours to get it off the headlights, the small plastics under the headlights and fender.
I think it's great that you are restoring this fantastic car, but I have to ask .... how much have you spent on it, and how much will you spend? I have a fairly pristine 300E from 1993, btw. It wasn't cheap!
@@VITOSGARAGE Sure, I was just interested to know whether the average Joe could afford to restore a junkyard W124, or how much it would cost. More power to you, really enjoying the series. Thumbsup.
It’s amazing how much work you have done on this w124. Thanks for saving it.
Really nice work! Performing sort of similar things to my -91 W124 300 E 24. Just waiting for the spring time to be able to enjoy it also on the road.
Fantastic work. I love watching these resto videos.
Thank you! Cheers!
Huge improvement!! Much better!
Thank you!
El cambio es notable, suerte que el coche está en buenas manos
God job!
Here before "why didnt you swap euro lights" comments. Nice W124 soon its better than brand new!
Thank you! And yeah with new bezels these lights look nice and awesome!
Восхитительно!!!
The only EUROparts I will install are the bezels. I put a ton of UV protection on because at the end of the day, it is EUROparts.

@@VITOSGARAGE thanks, autohausaz is new to me!
@@VITOSGARAGE do you remember if this was a URO grille? Looks great!
@williamglosup I believe it was. Brand new
Great videos. Thanks! (Would have been nice to see you install the 3M wrap on the bezel. I've never done that but would like to.)
Perfeito, 👏🏻

It honestly doesn’t matter how much I spent or will spend. They all deserve love and care
