Your plants look so healthy. What do you do with the remaining seeds in packets? Can you keep year to year? How long?
When you have multiple seedlings germinate do you just thin down to how many you want to transplant? The reason I ask is for example: I have 9 little tomato seedlings germinated and I really only want 2 of that type, it's hard to pull out 7 of them because I'm afraid in case the 1 or both that I save won't make it. I have this issue with other seedlings too. It's my first year doing this and if I let them all live I will have so many containers and have to buy so much soil. I know I'm an over-thinker with plant growing anxiety 😂

I keep all my seeds packs and continue using them. I have quite a few seed packs from over three years ago that I have planted this year and are growing right now. Just store them in a cool, dry place and you can keep your seeds for years!
I usually start by sowing quite a few seeds and thin it down to how many plants I want to grow. For example I have 6 tomato seedlings growing and I’ll probably only use 3 of them. Just thin out the seedlings once they have a few true leaves, about 4 weeks or so, and always choose the largest/strongest ones to continue growing. Good luck with your seedlings! 😊🌱
