- In this video we are putting the Apex Steering Boost kit to the test on a customer's Jeep Gladiator with 40" tires. It says 39" tires and below, but we are hoping to still see the effects. Let's see if this thing works.

Just installed on my 20 rubi with 37s. Works great. Took it in the rocks and made a big difference. Easy install. A lot easier if you just take out the pump when installing parts and cutting bracket.
How about a test stopped on pavement and turning the wheels full lock to lock and comparing the effort before and after ?
I put the apex on my JT diesel
Works well with 39s no ram needed
Any issues? Just ordered a diesel JL and I spend most of my wheeling weekends in Moab. I'm going to miss the PSC Big Bore kit on my current Jeep. When I talked to PSC at Easter Jeep Safari they didn't seem sure they'd have a diesel kit any time soon.
@@chainring_tattoo seems plenty good for my uses.
@@chainring_tattoo I have been running it on my JLU now for about a month and no issues at all. Granted i am only running 35s though but huge difference for me before and after.
Any update on the valve? Good? Bad? Indifferent?
You should flip your opening
We build badass 4x4s at Exodus 4x4
I've put in the full PSC kit in my 2021 JL. I'm getting loud pitch whining once it warms up that comes on at 2.5k+ RPMs and gets worse the longer I'm on the trail. Any ideas what the issue is?
have you checked the fluid level?
@@mikesavage90 I have yes, doing so when full.
Would this kit work with a PSC Big Bore Steering gear box and ram?
No the electronic power steering pump gets deleted when you install the PSC kit.
The Gage is a cool item, But I would want to be able to see it all the time
Find a lot longer hose that’s rated for the same pressure as the stock apex hose. Route it into your cabin. Put the dial on the end.
I need to upgrade ours, for the JK as it’s starting to fail I think
@Jeffrey Ward no I don’t think they do, but I need to find a good route for this failing FCA JKU
How tall are you?!
6’3”
Hey Bubbb, whaaaat geeeears shoullld I puuuut on my Jeeeeep
What kind of Jeep and how is it built?
@@Exodus4x4 Hey brother, I was just joking about an old video of yours on regearing th-cam.com/video/aPi4ZJ8cy1U/w-d-xo.html I've got an 07 JKU on 35's with the 42RLE/3.8l combo. Yeah, sad I know. My needs are modest for offroading but put 3.15s and dual truetracs in with PSC big bore. I was commenting the other day to someone about how the humor in your vids reminded me of my time in the Corps, then I saw your tattoos in this vid and laughed my ass off. Jarhead humor is the best.
5.13's 😒
Not much headroom in that JT huh bubba
Wonder how many windshields those tires have broken? selfish
Thats nothing you should see mine. I call it tailgaters fenders...lolololol
