Having wild baby dinos on the map is one of the most convenient changes ASA brought, makes those early tames easier/faster

Well, at least two of the four weather events (electrical storms and rain) don't affect characters adversely. Superheat and dust storms though... eccch!

When Argent taming, I found it's pretty efficient to drag a corpse into the trap and wait for it to come eat!
It really is ok to like other colors Phlinger, I promise 😂
A lot easier to have the second Dino gate on your hot bar and place it down after argent flies into trap.

Nice Argent, glad it didn't sink into the ground. I have two that sank down and now stuck underground.
not sure if this is he same on ascended but generally you need to tame away from certain ground textures... generally anything with grass textures tends to be safe though.
if scorched earth is having constant weather....i can only fear aberration having constant earthquakes every few seconds

the weather events on my single player game seem very similar to ase, but i keep seeing ppl on youtube saying they happen so much
I was going to say the weather events' preposterous level was paisley.
I propose the following Preposterousness Scale, in increasing order of severity: 1. Plaid; 2. Paisley; 3. Clashing Plaids.
UPDATE: Brown Business Suits might need to be in there as well, possibly even at a higher severity level than Clashing Plaids. Thoughts?
Hey Phlinger just so you know the 145 argent you were trying to tame you forgot to switch from stone arrows to tranq arrows, so you accidentally killed it by firing stone arrows at it.

They were yummy though, were you always made out of peanut butter?
Phlinger.... buddy... come on man, you've been playing this game for long enough to know you were going to kill that 145 Argent before knocking her out... like I knew even before it died. You were shooting it too quickly and it was getting extremely bloody... the signs were all there man!

it is always painful watching people use the line of gate traps with doors at both ends, for argents and yutis one end should have at least the fence foundation and 4 stone double doors, for some of the other tames you use the single stone doors. For argents you should not need more than 2 gates and you can place the door after they enter the trap.
