I like the worship of Israel Houghton, he is anointed to bring us songs of praise and worship which is why i clicked on this. It was fine at the beginning but then the electronic voice. Not sure if they were put some effects on the mics and if so why, just worship without all the gimmicks! If electronic machine voice all I can say is don't let no rock or synthesiser worship/praise Almighty God for you! Let's not pretend some of these worship meetings are about God. We have the Holy Spirit and per the words of Christ The Holy Spirit Of Truth will guide you in regards to All truth and again test every spirit. We are in the age of deception so discern!

I love that Israel is Anointed to go out of the box when in it comes to worship. He intentionally makes room for every form and style of worship that honors God. People's Preferences don't matter to him...he just displayed that, "This is God's house, not our house." All are welcomed! Many of us will be shocked when we get to heaven. What we turned our nose up to will be right there worshipping at the feet of Jesus! I love it!

It’s called a vocoder. You sing into a mic while playing a keyboard and the notes you play are applied to your voice. It’s no different than playing and singing at the same time. They’re pretty cool!

Hi Its a Custom T5 made for him. you would need to contact taylor and see if they have released it on the open market. it does have 2 jack outputs one on the acoustic side and one on the electric side and he blends them to get the sound he wants.
Actually it was live. The keyboardist behind him is playing it and singing into the microphone causing the vocal sound as you state (recording from the 80s). I think it's 🔥. 😂
