Great video, really enjoying the reviews of this producer. Have you ever thought about doing side-by-side reviews (ex. Napa Valley floor Cab vs. Cali mountain Cab, Margaux vs St Estephe, etc)? I think that would be super interesting, not in a “which wine is better” kind of way, more informative in nature. I just bought some 19 Marietta Game Trail Cabs which I will hold and look forward to in a few years.
I have to be honest and admit the wines of Ridge Vineyards are real favorites of mine - hopefully you can tell. This was a lovely opportunity to try these 3 wines. I don't have plans to do any comparative tastings, perhaps i should think about it, however I have put together a number of playlists - for example we have playlists for both Margaux and St Estephe, but building up a playlist of different California Cabs would be great. You might need to give me a little time to work on that!
I have seen them but I guess, probably something I noted as it was a flavor that is useful to use, somewhere on a spectrum between red and black fruits, sort of purple and juicy in nature. We do see Boysenberries in New Zealand where Boysenberry ice cream is pretty common.

I look forward to the new videos! I am yet to try Ridge but the local wine shop carries the Three Valleys bottling so maybe that will be my next buy.
Boysenberry? This seems to be common in wine jargon but I don’t think I’ve ever seen them anywhere.
