Jeff Healey Park unveiling celebration ~ June 5 2011

Jeff Healey (1966 -- 2008), a great Toronto musician, has his neighbourhood park renamed in his honour at a community celebration on a beautiful Sunday, June 5, 2011.
Danny Marks calls Derek Healey, Jeff's son, to join him on stage for a special moment. Later, during the park sign unveiling, Cristie Healey, Jeff Healey's widow, speaks about the importance of the park & what it meant to Jeff. I conclude the video with Jeff Healey's Jazz Wizards performing "I Found A New Baby". The song was actually the first song in the set, which bookended the unveiling ceremony, but I wanted to include this at the end as a tribute to the memory of Jeff Healey.
