We all know Wynona has this insanely powerful, belting voice, sings from her belly, and can broadcast. Bette has her own powerful set of pipes, god knows she does. When my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer, her second time, she requested that this song be played two times a day (morning and night). So, I did play this song as requested two times a day until her passing. On the day of her furneal, may songs were played along with song by Dumbo (mother rocking her baby to sleep). Many tears were flowing, people blowing there noses, many boxes of tissues were used, and many hugs were spread over from row to row strangers, and families alike.
Listening to these two sing together, I found myself in deep nostalgia. I have always loved both women and their music. Wish we could have a concert of women singing kinda like the ‘WE ARE THE WORLD’ but also duets……music goes along way toward healing. What we all need these days. Why…so sorry for your loss. Beautiful souls!
