Rey is so real for being open about this on the internet. I would’ve never guessed he was going through all of that! I thought he was just a little shy and awkward at times but now having his backstory & hearing his personal struggles it’s so admirable seeing him do his thing and grind on TH-cam and make videos. Him pushing through all that and making something productive out of his struggle is badass. I loved hearing his experience with prayer, there’s a big platform on the Christian online community that he could tap into, it doesn’t have to just be party drinking vibes. I feel like him putting out content of him being productive and sports and stuff like that is a good example to young boys TBH.

I can hear Rey's voice breaking when he's explaining how he wanted to end his life. TBH, i feel like Rey needs a hug from his brother. They both experience the same lost of their father and how strict and mean he was towards them, he may have had a tough childhood. I know our parents generation may have not expressed or shown their feelings but i think its our/generation call to help them cure that part of their trauma/ childhood. Wither its on camera or behind camera Jayco if you see this, coming from a big brother myself, give little brother a hug. It will mean a lot to him. Your time together is recovering and healing for both of you and Rey, my brother sending prayers your way. I love how Rey opened up about his depression and I relate to him about seasonal depression 😭 mine usually starts around March and goes all the way through June ish. I also did notice a year I was in a relationship w god and I didn’t get my depression. Ur story is my sign to get right with him again! 😓🤞🏼

The ringing in your ears is called tinnitus. The same thing happened to me and I assume it’s from listening to loud music most of my life and it’s truly scary at first. I smoked weed a couple days ago and like you I’ve heard the ringing before but it goes away. It stayed with me and it’s still here just very low, marijuana DOES have a connection with your ears and sinuses and it can trigger the tinnitus due to an allergic reaction to the weed or make your ears pop abnormally. I’ve dealt with the clogged ears after smoking but I’ve had clogged ears my whole life on and off.
I feel exactly where you’re coming from bro because I also have floaters and first developed them when I was 20/21. Your ears, nose, throat and eyes are all connected. Got to an eye doctor, go to an ENT doctor and figure out what’s going on. Just know you’re not alone bro, your walk with God will give you peace but just know a lot of people share your worries, your anxiety, and your pain bro. Keep LIVING Rey.

first gf/bf does not = first love.. trust me! i used to think like rey and now 6yrs w my partner.. THIS is my first love no doubt ab it. i think it’s a situation where you felt feelings you never have before but that doesn’t always mean those are only exclusive to that person.
There’s definitely a difference between really liking someone and truly loving someone! You’re completely right!
I do understand you because there’s definitely lust vs love and there is a difference but I do believe that if it felt like love to you at the time then it was in a way because that’s what you knew love to be, even if it was a kiddie love. As we grow, we develop new feelings, new experiences, and new loves but I do think it’s possible to have more than one love in your lifetime.
A lot of people in this generation are so far away from god so this was beautiful to see. Nothing that’s worth it is gonna come easy. God listens to those who talk to him, and as someone who had extreme sleep paralysis for months straight, I know the power of god on those gruesome nights. It’s easier to suffer deep down and cry alone but to be vulnerable and seek help to overcome whats held you down for so long that is true strength. Never had the chance to hear this podcasts ep, i am so glad I had the chance to finally hear the full podcast. I can't believe how we dont see much of anything I really love how this podcast gives a chance to talk about things that one would probably never talk about. In the process of this I feel like anyone who is talking for example Rey in this video had the chance to speak up and feel more peace. I recently told my sister that I’ve been going thru depression again and I’ve been seeing a lot of God and Jesus around me, everyone talking about him and showing me how much there lives have changed in a positive way and they seem so much happier. And it makes me wonder how my life would be if I did the same, and just seeing this video made me realize even more. Thank you guys 🙏
I work with an eye doctor, floaters are completely normal. Most people get them in their 20’s! They start to settle down with time. It’s just the vitreous “jelly” in the back of the eye that will detach slowly. No need to worry unless you get a shower of them and flashes of light. Hope you feel so much better going forward.

1:24:42 i used to also think that weed was not “as bad” as alcohol but once I went through my own weed journey i realized it’s on the same level as alcohol. weed and alcohol are two drugs that are just as impactful in someone’s life when abused. just as people smoke to relax, people drink to relax. it’s just that weed is more acceptable to be done in alone time and is more casual compared to drinking now a days but weed is addictive just as alcohol is. and those who swear are not addicted to weed are the same who cant go without smoking the whole day. addiction is a disease that many are not ready to accept

Floaters and ocular migraines are the worst. It’s scary and annoying when you can’t see. What’s helped me is improving my nutrition, taking vitamins and prayer. God heals and God redeems! 🙏🏼💖

Really check in with your family members or friends you will never know what they going through.some people are scared to open up about their feelings. If you are struggling with depression or you feel suicidal please reach out. I would be suicidal and feel depressed with my life and I didn’t reach out because I wasn’t close with my siblings or my mom and I felt like I could reach out but I didn’t and life didn’t get easier but it made me stronger to keep pushing my self to be better .

I lowkey connected with rey on the drug part with the side effects like shaking and it feeling like a video game and being anxious and wanting to stop doing it. I’ve been doing it since I was 13 and now I’m 16 and I’ve been wanting to stop for the past 2 years so I’m glad rey got the strength to stop😭🙌🙌
