🤍Any other Persona fans? 🖤 I wanna do more video game/anime pilgrimages! Where should I go?? (PS this video was filmed in 2022 oops, but at least it's good timing to release it before Persona Tactica!!)
How about legit Kanto region spots from Pokemon? I know it wont be 100% accurate but there has got to be areas that its somewhat based on. I know there is a legit Kanto in Japan.
Absolutely. Persona is one of my favorite game series. 1 and 2, have unfortunately not aged as well as the rest and they don't have all of the game mechanics that was introduced with Persona 3 and going forward. If you haven't played 3 and 4, then I can definitely recommend them! A remake of P3 will be released on February 2, next year and bring it's graphics inline with P5. P4 had a smaller graphicall upgrade, back in 2020 for Windows and was released for consoles in January of this year. :)
P5 is phenomenal, I played it through a few times when it first came out and then did it again with P5Royal. Really great seeing these places in real life.
I'm also a big fan of Persona 5 in Korea. I'm going to visit Tokyo tomorrow and going to Sangerzaya and Shibuya, and I think this video will be very helpful for reference!! I'll keep that in mind. Thank you very much.
This area has a lot of character. Maybe it's because the UK is pretty grotty, but a slightly less pristine part of Japan like this looks very welcoming to me 😆
OMG I literally did this like three days ago. If you go all the way down the Leblanc alley, you end up at a bus stop, which is where Ryuji gets told off by Shido’s entourage. Also the grocery store is not on the Main Street that it is in the game. I think the neighbourhood didn’t seem as similar as the game (it’s been many years), but the metro station is almost identical. I put my camera away thinking I was done and had to whip it out when I got on the platform.
Persona 5 is the reason I haven't gotten lost in Shinjuku Station while I'm visiting Tokyo! Even went on a date in Inokashira Park yesterday. Such a cool video! Gonna check out more spots from your video.
That’s so helpful, Shinjuku station is a nightmare! I actually did my first full play through of the game before moving to Tokyo, so I didn’t have as good of a concept of the locations. Now that I’m replaying it after living here, can enjoy the game from a whole new perspective!
Yup I played the OG non royal, but I'm replaying it on my switch with the updated royal version atm. But I'm doing it in Japanese since there was no English language option for the physical version available in japan, so taking me way longer to progress 😂
I have played Persona 5 Strikers and I remember sanganjaya = yongenyaya as Cafe Leblanc (Hideout attic). It was nice to recognize same kind of real buildings and structures as in the game. And have a kind of Deja vu feeling suddenly. Also nice way to attach character comments with real landscapes.
Persona is easily my favorite game series. One of the reasons I started watching youtubers from Japan was to see more of the real Japan that I had previously only seen from games, manga & anime and the Persona games was probably the most important in creating my interest in Japan.
Persona 5 royal is also my fav game and I'm very surprised to see in-game locations are based from real places. Really cool to see around Sogenjaya and Shibuya! Definitely my top places to check out when I'm going to Japan
Wow Sarah you have been putting out soooo much content recently, I hope it is paying off for you and you are seeing your channel grow and grow, I have loved watchin your vids from day one and they have just gotten better and better, u maybe don’t see it in yourself but you have a real talent for this, keep up the great work!! 💙
I didn’t know Persona had a lot of real life locations! I knew Makoto Shinkai films and Yakuza games had some real life locations, so I should’ve guessed it would. A big surprise for me was finding out the Route 2 road from my Pokémon game on the OG Gameboy, shared the same name as the real Route 2 in Japan.
Sangenjaya is my hometown and i used to live there for over 20 years but have no idea where these locations are lol They look super different from the area I lived
I haven't played Persona 5 (yet) but it was really cool to see this regardless! I plan on playing it eventually, so I'll definitely watch this video again when I do! Also, those curries looked really good!
The curry in the game is a Japanese style curry that adopts many different aspects of Japanese ingredients like apples and dark chocolate making me believe it's a beautiful balance between sweetness and spiciness that goes well with a nice black coffee
Personally (😉), I've only just discovered a latent love for the waky and weird storytelling at the core of the Yakuza series. I suspect that at some point, an appetite for the Persona universe will also spring forth. 🍵
Joker's perceived as a delinquent at first but Shigenori Soejima said that he wanted Joker to come off as an innocent law abiding student to hide his double life hence why he also where's the glasses to give him more of an innocent look
Didnxt realize how much they made the game *exactly* like the locations. Especially didnxt expect that for Sangenjaya, since they changed the name of the neighborhood in the game.
4 minutes from Sangen-Jaya to Shibuya, plus however many minutes from Shibuya to Aoyama Itchome. Maybe the reason you get to read on the train so seldom is that it can only happen when you get good seats on both trains.
Too bad the batting cages were closed. I was way too slow to land a hit with their machine, but the worker does acknowledge the facility being in the game.
...BY THE WAY...REGARDING GAME'S POPULARITY....WHY NOT SOMEONE TO BUYOUT THE CAFEE TO MAKE IT ACTUAL LEBLANC.......AS WELL AS AIRSOFT SHOP TOO, HEHE .....OKOKOK OVERUSED IDEA LIKE EVERYONE DO ACTUALLY *WANT* , HEHE...SO MAYBE........

My favorite!

I've got 135 hours into P5 Royal. Also about 80 in P3 Fes and P4 Golden.
I can't get over how realistic the game is 😮. It's great to see different parts of Tokyo ❤
I'm also a big fan of Persona 5 in Korea. I'm going to visit Tokyo tomorrow and going to Sangerzaya and Shibuya, and I think this video will be very helpful for reference!! I'll keep that in mind. Thank you very much.

Great vid! Can’t believe how close they got it in the game, they really represented the area well. Have to check those places out next time in Japan
So cool seeing how accurate it is right?! 😆
I loved this and it would be cool to see this become some kind of series! 🤩
Great video! havn't played the games but that Café looks so good

Can hardly wait for wife and i to visit Tokyo. rockin the braid!

I play P5 multiple times. I'm in Tokyo now didn't think about looking for places like these
Haven't played Persona and still found it very interesting, nice walk 👍
Best video yet! Seerasan knows how to put out that quality content. Btw, did you listen to the P5 soundtrack while going to these locations?? 😃
Sarah. You are irresistible!! Elated ever since finding yer channel.
I've played over 1000 hours of Persona 5 Royal and another 600 of vanilla P5. I might have to play it again now.
Looking gorgeous as always. Another awesome video. 😊
Makoto is best girl
NO LIES TOLD!!! Ann and Haru are close seconds!!!
Sumire is senpai!
I played Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 Strikers
An awesome video. I suppose the video would be shot this spring according to your clothes.
I love the Persona games. Can't wait for the next one.
So much fun!
Sangenjaya is my hometown and i used to live there for over 20 years but have no idea where these locations are lol

really good edit really good vid and every one knows their stuff... respect

Also, those curries looked really good!
always a pleasure to watch. freue mich auf jedes video ;)
Enjoyed the vid a lot, I would also love to visit the locations from makoto shinkai movies!! Japan scenery is amazing
I’ve actually visited a few of the Your Name spots in Tokyo, but I’d love to visit Lake Suwa in Nagano!!
@@seerasan That lake looks really breathtaking, i hope to visit it some day
so cool to see these places in real life! glad she showed us around!
When I went in June I was in Shibuya looking for all the spots it was soo cool
very cool walk!!!
I liked the Doctor Lady 🥺 I love her punk alt fashion look, I’m a sucker for that style.
The curry in the game is a Japanese style curry that adopts many different aspects of Japanese ingredients like apples and dark chocolate making me believe it's a beautiful balance between sweetness and spiciness that goes well with a nice black coffee
So cool to see the locations in reality
Awesome!! Persona 5!!! 🔥🔥🔥
眼鏡の兄ちゃんが、カレー食べる時に 左手をスプーンに添えてこぼれるのに備えていた のだが 日系かな?
So cool!
聖地巡礼 いいですねえ♪ また東京へ行きたくなるなあ

Love your shirt! Where’d you get it? 🥺🥺
No fcking way, as the biggest Persona 5 glazer how'd I miss this video
Sangenjaya, is basically New Jersey.
🤭
dude, is that Takeshi Kitano on the DMM billboard at Center Gai?? He's my favorite!
Joker's perceived as a delinquent at first but Shigenori Soejima said that he wanted Joker to come off as an innocent law abiding student to hide his double life hence why he also where's the glasses to give him more of an innocent look
Really interesting to see an area they'd never show on an NHK program.
for once, it doesn't feel cringe when I say this reminds me of Persona 5...
Never played a Persona game but have always enjoyed watching playthroughs (and this video, of course!) Should I pick up the game? Maybe 3 or 4 too?
Didnxt realize how much they made the game *exactly* like the locations. Especially didnxt expect that for Sangenjaya, since they changed the name of the neighborhood in the game.
(Three/san)genjaya and (four/yon)genjaya is a play on words lol
That is certainly one way to get a realistic layout in your game. Too bad so many things were closed.
I wanted to see your hairstyle like Takamaki😍
Missed opportunity! 😂
Oh wow, that's crazy lol 😆
He wasn't a delinquent
Joker can read an entire novel on the 4 minute train ride because he read Speed Reader
4 minutes from Sangen-Jaya to Shibuya, plus however many minutes from Shibuya to Aoyama Itchome. Maybe the reason you get to read on the train so seldom is that it can only happen when you get good seats on both trains.
2:47 Nani? There's quite a few in Shinjuku.
Too bad the batting cages were closed. I was way too slow to land a hit with their machine, but the worker does acknowledge the facility being in the game.
For a sec, I thought this was about that Yakuza game everyone was/is still playing. 😂
Sugoi desune, I luv Persona 5 🌸
Team Haru represent~!
I just listened to beneath the mask this is crazy 🤣🤣🤣❤❤❤#takeyourheart
三茶好き❤️
NGL, ive always wanted to try a Big Bang Burger
You can at Burger King to make your dreams come true (that's there in a similar spot in Shibuya)
not trying to be a peeve, but where my last name is the leblanc, the c is silent, it grinds my gears when people pronounce the c. THE C IS SILENT
Can you share the locations? I'm traveling here in May!
聖地です😊
KASUMI IS THE BEST GIRL IN ROYAL 🥰
I'm going in November and I saw everyone was still wearing masks! Then I saw the comment that it's last year. Is everyone still wearing masks?
Maybe the game is the real world and you are the code of the program?

Where is the video game version of seerasan though? :)
Wtf, japan is real???
Who knew
They're just gonna wear mask forever aren't they
