I had a mental meltdown today. I've been crying for hours. I talked to my mom and she gave me a lot of life advice. Some of the things she told me felt like it was out of topic from the problem I was having. She told me that I am too selfless and she doesn't want me to be like her. She told me that she lived her life according to what others want and she told me that I need to live for me even if it means I might do something that she doesn't approve of.
I was so confused. I didn't feel heard. Right after that conversation, I see the notification for this video. This video made everything she said make sense. She definitely saw something I didn't see. Now I realize that the root of my problem is because I haven't lived my life yet. I didn't go through a teen rebel phase or a 20-year-old party girl phase. I didn't do any young and stupid things. I try too hard to be perfect so I lose motivation. I crash and burn when things get intense.

I was that rebellious teen, well into my late 20s. I've made a lot of questionable decisions and traveled cross country 3 times alone in my car. I've lived in my car and had to learn to stretch money. But I wouldnt change it for the world. My best advice is live your life. This is YOUR life and you are going to be with yourself until the end of your time so why not enjoy it. Why not do things that make you happy, laugh, smile. Life will sometimes get rough but trust that you have the tools within you to overcome any and everything. Find what you like and go for it. You will learn so much about yourself. And if things dont work out, that is okay, move on to the next because life is meant to be lived and meant to make mistakes so we can learn from it and become better. My heart is with you!

3. I’m going to study bachelor in health science. I’ve doubted myself at times to even enrol.
