You were very fortunate to have perfect weather, it can change on the dime, sorry that vessel is not ocean going as I own one also. Thanks for your video, very nice boat

Agreed, but I go out in the ocean all the time with her. Just gotta wait for that Bermuda High to hover over South Florida and the ocean turns to glass.

He had to have timed the tides down to the second

Actually that was a pretty brisk out going tide when I did that. The boat can handle 1 to 2 footers all day long. I’d never go out in the ocean bigger than that though.

$106.000 and does not include tax. About $20,000 of that was on upgrades though. At the time you could get the base boat, motor and trailer for about $86.000.

How many days/weeks/months/years of wait for JUST THE RIGHT CONDITIONS did it take? I'm a minimalistic ocean cruiser myself and I KNOW the LH has no business being out there 99% of the time.

Yeah, I wouldn't take her out on rough days. I've taken her out on 1 to 2 foot seas though without issue. You just need to have no less than a 115 hp motor though and keep on the gas so you get good bow lift. It handles better than I thought she would. The Atlantic off the South Florida Coast can get like a lake for weeks at a time during the summer.

@@MegaSling Good for you 🙂 I have a boat problem too, but it's only a small boat problem. As in small boats, that still can live on a trailer. I live in NH. We have those days too, but when I take the pontoon out on the North Atlantic, I'm probably the only one North of the Mason-Dixon Line and I usually have a small creek flowing aft past 2 pm because of the conditions. Not that this would matter on my boat, but water running through the house would on your boat. Glad that you have so much fun with your boat. Only small craft sailors are real sailors - peace 🤗
