Jesus did many, many miracles. Because He did so many miracles did not make them not miracles. Jesus encouraged us to have faith. He said that the same things He did, we would do and greater, if we had faith. He said that we can ask anything, and we will receive it. He was upset by one thing, when people didn't have faith for miracles. He appreciated and was pleased when people had faith. Rather than so downplaying miracles, which are the glory of God revealed, how about finding out what real miraculous faith is, and how to have it? Denying that we should hope to, and expect to have it have it, is the easy way out. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. And, it's always so easy for those who are strong, healthy, and well enough off, to decide that others should not venture to have faith to become physically healed, strong, and prosperous, when they are not.
Didn’t Peter say, “In the name of Jesus Christ rise up and walk”? And didn’t he say, “Little girl, get up!” In Acts. Sounds like calling out a miracle to me. Ladies, are you sure your complaint about calling down miracles is Biblical?
It is interesting that Jesus was specific in His healing to a person or the 10 lepers, not calling down a miracle for someone in the group. What happened at the concert sounds to me to be unbiblical.
I’m so appreciative of both of you! Merry Christmas! Much love to you!
Hi Ladies. I wish that you could have conferences somewhere in the eastern US, but the other locations must have worked better.
