Good call! forget about that one! I remember Gunititled from Ces Cru and Mac in like 2010? but the dope one was THE ROUTINE! When they're taking shots at mumble rap it's hilarious. Ces always been a favourite, well... anyone on strange tbh lmao
@@johnydoe6797 mac was also part of grind time rap battles my moms ex boyfriend was dc smitty he was also in grind time for a while. every one was so awesome and welcoming including mac!
Krizz, I just found this channel a couple days ago; and I've just gotta thank you for it. I've learned so much about hip-hop and rap since I've started watching, and I REALLY appreciate you breaking down the styles and giving a brief bit of history in this video. You're a real one.
I used to watch all the Scribblejam dvds back in the day, and Mac was a hell of a freestyle artist. I'm just glad the man gets his props. Edit: I actually saw that tour you were talking about. Been a fan of Tech for a long time.
I love your reactions man, you soo humble with it. You soo accomplished & Im glad you showing love ! Respect, Also That i.s.p tour with Tech ,You, and KMK got me into ya'll music ! LEGENDS
This was great. I am limited in my rap repertoire but I've loved you and Tech for 20 years. I've watched Mac lethal a bunch but having you explain the various styles is great!
Yeah as others have said you definitely gotta check out 10 Second Songs aka Anthony Vincent, super talented dude, the first I ever saw was Dark Horse in 20 styles but he did do a Rap God in 40 styles that's good
I've always wondered what you, Tech, and the rest of strange would think about Mac. Especially the chopping in this video. Epic to find out all these years later. Stay up Kali baby!
For the Hyphy Movement style it's Keak Da Sneak who you were trying to think of. Loving the reaction videos, btw. Been a Strange Music fan since the early 2000's so it's cool to see you out there doing your thing, Krizz.
I was at the norva show of the wicked Wonka tour met Tech that night at the upstairs bar told him that night if he keeps putting on such an energetic stage show he'd have a fan for life. I'm still checking out everything tech and now you on your journey too
I really love that you comment on the beef the best way imaginable ❤I am a long time Mac Lethal fan and was really sad to see all the hate he got after the beef, and that people didn't recognize his talent. It's pretty obvious which artists he admires (Wu Tang, Eminem, Tech9) and I feel like he does them justice. Great reaction 👍👏😎
It’s funny, I listened to Tech for years without ever noticing how often he did the “cha” adlib. Then I started dating my now ex-wife and, for whatever reason, the “cha’s” drove her absolutely crazy; I mean she seriously hated them. Which I thought was hilarious, of course, and naturally this lead me to occasionally play a Tech song that I knew had lots of “cha’s” in it just to get on her nerves. 😂 Oh, and just to clarify, none of that has anything to do with why she is now my ex-wife.
This video was how I learned about Midwest Chop (or rather that it had a specific name). Which then was how I found about about you and Tech 9 years ago. So thanks, Mac Lethal!
Krizz/team - just a FYI when you do more Ren reactions, you dont need transparency etc. He is 100% reactor friendly. 😊 Loving these reactions. Big love to Krizz and co 😊
Mac said "you look like a girl and you wrestled and that's gay" and Tom said "you're a washed up drug addict failure of a husband and father and I'll kill you". Tom's first old Diss track was nothing but bait. Mac lethal sucks holds the actual bars
As far as musicians I listen to goes, Krizz Kaliko (hip hop) and Avienne Low (metal, ex-Vintersea) are some of the most "important" reaction channels we need on TH-cam.
If you aren't averse to long cyphers, Crypt has a good series of youtube cyphers with Mac Lethal on vol 2 I remember Tech was hopping around on 1 foot when Wicked Wonka hit Portland, and I think it was Stevie Stone as the 3rd person up there with you.
I would love to see you react to Dan Bull, either his GTA 5 rap, or his Civilization Rap. If you don't already know who he is, I think it would be a great surprise. Great channel.
Gotta second this. Dan Bull raps about video games, but he's a legitimately super talented rapper and lyricist. Some of his songs, despite being ostensibly about a video game, are really just about real world stuff with that veneer on it. His Civ V rap, Wildlands Rap, For Honor, the Hitman raps, etc. He's the GOAT of TH-cam Rap.
Ha! Not watched yet, but have seen several reactions to the original. Most are not familiar with the range of old styles. Mac is a funny dude. I saw him going off one night freestyling at Kabal/Skybox down in the River Market before they closed
Mac Lethal and Tom MacDonald had beef stemming from a twitter rant that Mac Lethal had, Tom felt attacked even though no names were officially dropped. Mac was saying that he wasnt talking about Tom even though it was clear that's who he was talking about. Tom responded with a song with some good disses, Mac Lethal responded with a track of his own with a few alright shots back. Tom responded again and that was that for a couple years. Tom released an album and he sent more strays at Mac, so he responded and then there was nothing really else between the two.
If you want more styles videos, check out Anthony Vincent's 20 styles videos on his Ten Second Songs channel. His Linkin Park "In The End" 20 styles cover was the first one I saw.
After seeing you react to this "Midwest chopper" one, but would love to see a reaction to The Jokerr - The Maestro (A tech n9ne diss)... saw an interview where tech was laughing at his impersonation at the end 🤣
He's having fun with it, obviously, and some of them are straight up taking the piss, as the Brits would say, but overall I agree they are pretty well done. Subject matter aside, he does have the cadence and the flow down pretty cold.
I don’t think it’s possible for anyone outside the group to fully understand the Wu-Tang slang. Indeed, their methodology upon the microphone doth be banging, and Wu-Tang slang shall leaveth thou’st head piece hanging.
For doing these mimics of other rappers, you should check out Quadeca. He’s got several videos where he does this. He writes the songs in their style and performs them.
@@johndeeregreen4592 fair point however he could just go for the bars without picking sides ...but to your point he probably will just skip it all together..
Krizz, you might like Anthony Vincent aka Ten Second Songs doing Rap God in 40 styles. One of those styles is Tech Nine.
Yes!
Was about to comment this too. Anthony is insane.
More than just that video
Anthony is the absolute master of different styles.
@@IAMNOGOOD80 yeah wee know this guy. this is the guy who got bodied by Tom MacDonald. Anthony is better.
Mac and Tech did a song together in 2016 called Angel of death. its an amazing song and they both go off!

Mac was in that Prof and tech video as well. Flipping pancakes when they killed him.
I've seen several reactions to this Mac Lethal's video before. But no one has yet given such an analysis as Krizz.
Thanks man, for everything you do!
Best reaction to this I've seen you're knowledge of all the different styles and artists is awesome! Great stuff!

YES!
I was coming to make the same comment
There's a reason why tech has never included him on a chopper song. He is terrible lmao
@@80AM. you should use Google. And then you wouldn't look like a fool. Tech and Mac have collabed

As a life long punk rocker and therefore a hip hop novice I totally appreciate the history lessons.
