I wonder price on their lightbulbs and electrical bill is! Good long break, looking through book for tired feet.

😁I’m sure it’s not cheap. Exactly, my feet were in need of good long book flipping. 😁 Love those books! ❤️

I went to San Francisco showroom to see your furnitures. Since it’s too grand, it can’t fit for small high raise condos in Manhattan well. Also, I prefer the fancy classic furnitures with my taste and colors.

Thanks for your comment! 😊 Yes, I think those grand pieces are for houses, but it’s nice to see a difference perspective!

I love these videos! I’m curious how did they hang their curtains? The ones where there’s no rod visible ❤ did you notice?

Thank you🫶🏻😊! Glad you enjoyed it! Good point…I think the rod is the color of the wall, so you cannot even see it, very smart. 👌🏻🙂

To have half of the architectural tour be page-by-page shots of a coffee table book is... Bazaar. Otherwise- great inspiration: thank you!

Thanks for your comment! Glad you enjoyed it! 😊 I just needed “a little” break and I adore the coffee table books. 😂 There are more coffee table books to explore😉.

@grant1088 Really good question, thank you for it! It’s actually a very unique building with the rich history. I saw this building for the first time when it was still abandoned many years ago. I always admired it and wanted to take a peek at it😊. Since then it has been renovated and turned into an amazing, the world’s leading luxury restoration hardware store - RH is the official name. It’s a design atelier with different floors and style. It has a restaurant (Three Arts Café) as well. Once this building was The 3 Arts Club of Chicago, which was built in 1914. It was designed by legendary Chicago architects Holabird & Roche, was originally constructed to house women studying the “three arts” of drama, music, and painting. It has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the US Department of the Interior.

      @@nataliachicago6519 Great description!
I remember the store opening (quite small, in a mall, in Seattle.) Everything was wonderfully different and beautiful and SO reasonable priced! At some point it truly became a high-end resource for many designers and now you see credits in most major décor magazines.
I am also a Chicagoan by birth and now back for the last 7 years in Edgewater. Perhaps we're neighbors? 😊

@chemokiki Thank you! 😊 Oh, nice, in Seattle…it’s nice to witness the brands’ growth. I’m sure the prices were reasonable back then. Nice to meet a fellow Chicagoan! 👋🏻 I’ve been living in Gold Coast and Lincoln Park area, so this RH building is dear to me. 😁

Gentrification strikes again! This used to be the Three Arts Club.

I actually see them as curators here.🙂 This building was abandoned for a long time, so I’m glad a private money invested in here to brought this gem to life 🤩. In the case where local government cannot provide the necessary support, private money should have an option to do so. They’ve done it with class here 👌🏻, love this place, and the building is here for future generations to see.
