When you think of Power Rangers, the first name that always comes up in conversations is Tommy. From his days as the evil green ranger to becoming the team's most important ally to becoming the leader, MMPR, Zeo, Turbo, Dino Thunder, you name it, he has seen it all and done it all. I can't think of anyone who is more synonymous with the franchise and has been a huge part of everyone's childhood. Nobody has shown more love and given so much back to the fans than JDF, his passing has more than left a huge void that will never be filled. RIP Jason David Frank and thank you for all of the epic memories.
In Zeo, Tommy Oliver had probably the most character development out of any of his past or future incarnations. The comics do a wonderful job of explaining some of the stuff that went on behind the scenes in MMPR during the transition from Green to White, though.

So instead of staring in VR troopers Jason David Frank switched places with the original actor chosen for the white ranger and the rest is history
