Hi senior here! Don't be afraid of going into highschool! It's honestly an amazing experience, and in my opinion, wayyy easier then middle school! There isn't nearly as much homework (at least from what I've experienced)! Good luck freshie! :D
In my opinion, middle school and high school are pretty similar. I do recommend that you join clubs, it will look really good on your transcript if you do plan on going to college. I hope you enjoy your high school years, they really do go by fast.
Sophomore here please don’t be afraid to talk to upperclassmen. Also, you should get the white out that rolls like tape, the nail polish kind takes way too long to dry and you don’t have that time. Also, it stinks up the classroom. I would highly recommend getting a pair of cheap headphones that are wireless for your computer bc it takes way too long (at least for me) to connect to the computer. The reason I say wireless is because if you need to take notes the wire gets in the way and it's a pain. Good luck :)
as a incoming sophomore, just stay on top of ur homework and assignments bc if you wait until the end of the marking period it can get overwhelming. just be yourself yk don’t try too hard to fit in bc it’s gonna look weird( if that makes sense?) ur gonna make friends ofc.. and yeah good luck with everything :)))
as a incoming senior just one thing i would say is cherish your high school years as they go by cuz they go by VERY fast and don’t be scared ! i was too when i was a freshman but i eventually got comfortable and was chilling, good luck!!
hi, i'm a junior. middle school and high school are pretty different, just in terms of responsiblities, but i like high school so much better than middle school- less melodrama, more interesting classes, more challenging classes, more variety, more people, just generally an upgrade imo. keep up with work, stay organized, and talk to teachers to ask for extensions or if you have any sort of difficulty in a class. talking to your teachers is such an underrated thing, people often think that teacher won't give them an extension or help them so they don't but it has saved my grade a couple of times. good luck :)
i hope you have a great school year :)) high school is way easier there’s less rules u can use your phone and teachers are less strict just make sure you do your work and don’t worry too much i was SO FREAKING scared freshman year but after a week my nerves calmed down 😃i’m gonna be a senior now eeee
Hi! Senior, Dont be afraid!! It’s not as bad as movies and tv shows crack it up to be. Focus time on finding your people and learn all the different clubs and groups offered! My biggest regret from freshman year was definitely not taking the time to talk to people and learn more about extracurriculars my school has, i was and still am socially awkward lol. Overall, teachers are pretty lenient but the workload can be a lot. However, with good time management skills you should be fine!

you have more freedom in highschool but people really don’t mature especially in 9th and 10th grade. i’m going into 11th so i’m not sure if people mature in 11th but people definitely still have that immature middle school mindset in 9th and 10th grade especially the boys. but as far as freedom and having fun highschool is definitely better
