On March 2, 2016 Sr. Gaudia Skass of the Congregations of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy was the guest speaker at St. Mary's Church in New Haven. She spoke about the life of St. Faustina and the Divine Mercy message.

I discovered the image of Divine Mercy in Belmarsh prison in London, I was involved in organised crime, a Irish sister gave me a rosary, I stated praying again, I had not prayed since I was a little boy, i have found great comfort in this. Thank you for this, you are a special person.

I am not criticizing, I am replying to your question. probably bc there is sio much that is highly troubling about DM, which was, understandably, condemned by 2 previous popes. Like many others, I just cannot fathom why anyone would out their trust in this, when there is too much that is dubious and heretical. I am not doubting anyone's sincerity, but there is plenty on the problems w DM.
Jesus appeared to me on a dream touched my shoulder gently woke me up and spoke these words: “Remember my last words before I went to heaven”.

Very divine presentation.
Sr. Gaudia Skass, I started praying to the Chaplet of Divine Mercy last year and ended up crying a lot almost each time I prayed. Late last August, I had the divine encounter with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, glowing right before me! It was truly beautiful and I trust that God's very close to me, taking care of me even though I'm going through a lot of difficulties in my life right now. Bless you for sharing this beautiful message and please continue your good work.
Sister Gaudia, thank you for this wonderful presentation . I was in Krakow Poland for almost a week in September 2019. I did not know that my beloved sain’s sister lived in that convent. I visited the gift shop several times and saw all the relics of our beloved saint. I wish I had known that you were there. I will be coming again the moment this pandemic is over. I want to bring my daughter there. I go to my beloved St. Faustina ALL the time. I have her picture that I bought from your gift shop on my alter in my bedroom and I light a candle 🕯 to her before I pray her novena and the litany after the Divine Mercy devotions daily. I only have to say “St.Faustina please help me.” And go my merry way and sure enough she helps me. Amazing! Even whenever I pray to her for others she answers almost immediately. I just mention the request and sometimes even forget that I have requested it. When it happens the way it pleases me then I remember that it is St. Faustina’s work. So I quickly thank her. I think she is very fond of me. On my part I just love her with ALL my heart AFTER Jesus and Mother Mary.

Dear Rev. Sister,
I listened to your presentation, today 21st April 2020, as the Coronavirus is destroying our ability to earn and our future. The year when the world realized that man is powerless even against an invisible virus. Please pray for all those who are struggling in hospitals and also without an economic future.
In Sri Lanka we are also at the first anniversary of the Easter bombings of 2019. Please Pray for those who lost their loved ones and for Sri Lanka too. I hope and pray that someday you can visit Sri Lanka and expand our devotion to the Divine Mercy. Your presentation was very pleasant and I thank God for permitting me to listen to it. I too believe that God has given me a mission to look after the desttute people. But God is making it so hard for me even to start. What you related about St Faustina, makes me believe that I too should not give up.
God Bless you Sister, your community and the Polish people who has given us three great Saints in the 20th century in St Faustina, St Maximilian Kolbe and our beloved St John Paul.

Great job sister. I am reading the diary. Some of the things she says are mind blowing. She always refers to herself and the rest of us as"creatures". We know she loves Jesus as do most of us. I have the chaplet on my cell phone now. I always have to go to google to see the exact words of the Apostles Creed. I have to put alll of this on paper. I wish I could be like her and devote myself completely to Jesus. But this society is very tough on people. We live in a different world than she lived in. I feel so bad fo her and her suffering. Thank the Lord she left this world before the Nazi's came into Poland
Thank you Sr. for your talk about my patron St. Sister FAUSTINA . She has sent to God so very many of my requests, ALL of them have been granted. Whenever someone asks me to pray for them , I explain , YOU need to pray to SR. FAUSTINA for your request. My first time I heard about Her was when our Pastor Rev Ron Pytel told me all about her, he explained who she was and not a lot of people don't know of her background. After that meeting, I read every thing could about her she then became my go to Saint. My parish in Baltimore is Holy Rosary , in that church is a shrine dedicated to SR. FAUSTINA, so very many prayers have been answered at this shrine. A true miracle happened to Rev Ron Pytel, Sr. FAUSTINA healed his heart. There are many more details about this, unfortunately not a lot of people are aware of this miracle from DIVINE MERCY and why Sr FAUSTINA is a special Saint for my family. May God continue to Bless and keep you in the palm of His hand

I was born in a little christian village nearly 72 years ago my father chose the name Faustina for me but my Godmother named me Fatima. My father died 6 months after my birth. I promised to name my daughter Faustina if Jesus granted me a daughter. My daughter Faustina is now 50 years old and my husband and I are happily married for 52 years. Please keep us in your prayers.

This is the best talk on Divine Mercy I have ever heard!This sister speaks beautifully on Divine Mercy and what St.Faustina went through to bring this message to the world!I cried hearing the story of the commandment who converted and I needed to hear what she said about once Faustina followed Jesus she was hit with difficulty after difficulty and it seems that he is not helping us.That Jesus makes it so hard when we decide to follow him!So true!

Dear Sr. Gaudia, as a small child, while praying the rosary, I saw the image of Jesus walking toward me. As a grownup, I am now in my 60's, without knowing anything about the Divine Mercy, while at church, I saw the picture of the Divine Mercy for the 1st time and I was so happy because it was the same image of Jesus that I saw when I was a child. I saw His face and the image of the Divine Mercy sending rays toward me in Church during the Divine Mercy Chaplet while it was being prayed in our Catholic Church! I have told this to 3 or 4 priests, family and a few church friends, and they encourage me to pray for God's Divine Will in my life. There is so much more to this that I don't know what God wants me to do....should I share everything, should I just keep it in my heart? What am I supposed to do if my heart wants me to share with others how beautiful and important it is to tell others about the Divine Mercy, and yet, my common sense tells me to just keep it all to myself and continue to pray that His Divine Mercy is adored and glorified via "holy people" and not me. I am a sinner and yet, after experiencing this, I believe that Jesus was trying to show me that even I can be forgiven. God bless you.
+Sylvia Diaz All who experienced the Mercy of God should share this experience with others, be living witnesses to the goodness of our God! Still, I wouldn't recommend sharing "visions", at least not with everyone. With a confessor - yes, with the closest friend - fine. But usually such private experiences should stay private. They are not meant to be "for the whole world", if you know what I mean?

Sr. Guadia thank you so much for this talk it sank deep into me and I have much to meditate on now. I am coming to the Catholic Church during the pandemic, God has asked me to pray and everything else I need to learn will fall in place and It’s true, I pray the rosary everyday meditating on the mysteries which makes brings me to the Bible and to ask questions which brings me to the Catechism, I’m learning so much and growing deeper in faith through prayer, this lent (my first of course) I’ve started to watch mass on tv as it’s not safe at this time in my community to go to church in person and to also find a saint and really learn about them and also I wanted to add the divine Chaplet to my prayers everyday so I decided to learn about St.Faustina . Her diary should arrive tomorrow in the mail and I cannot wait to begin reading it! But your talk has taught me a lot and you spoke with so much love that I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated it even if the video came out 4 years ago, i cannot wait to to be baptized and to celebrate the Eucharist and I’m sure through reading St. Faustinas diary I will develop a greater appreciation for it. Offer your pain along with the sacrifice of *Jesus* on the Cross for the sake of millions of other *brothers ans sisters* who are suffering just like you.
That will always heal others and Satan will leave you alone because you start to pray for others .. wherever you are tormented or sad. So he understand that there is no point in troubling you because you will save other people too.
So more the pain .. offer more prayers for others along with Jesus's sacrifice, that's the key (along with Jesus's sacrifice) you need to offer your prayer to *ABBA FATHER*

Awesome presentation Sr. Gaudia. I'm sure St. Faustina felt honored and was very happy with all that you said. St. Faustina's image of Divine Mercy is actually a photograph of my near death experience some 39 years ago. It's the reason I converted from protestantism to Catholicism. I am so grateful to St. Faustina for leading me to Jesus in the Catholic Church. The Holy Sacraments are awesome. I can't wait to meet her some day.
