I went there in December 2018 and trained there for 2 weeks.
I can say first-hand that Marc's hospitality was top notch, the cleanliness was on-point and the facility is unlike any other in the entirety of Thailand including some of the other known training facilities in Phuket and Bangkok.
I plan to visit AKA Thailand again in either August/September of 2020 and I can't wait to get there!

I was honestly thinking on trying Tiger Muay Thai first but heard they got a bad rap when it comes to cleanliness and someone said that AKA Thailand and few others offer the best service and sanitation. Definitely sometime in the future would like to visit and stay there for some amount of time and train for a possible fight if I'm able to

Hello, I’m 20 years old born In Michigan and have been in the Army for a little over 8 months by the time I get generally discharged and I want to move to Phuket, I’ve been obsessed with fighting ever since I got a bag for Christmas when I was a kid and I haven’t been able to hit a bag in the last 8 months, this country and this gym don’t seem real, i really want to move the Phuket you might seem me there sometime soon

Do u provide equipment like boxing gloves etc
We don't have loaners, but you can purchase new equipment in our showroom.
I am thinking of training with you guys for 30 days. Train in MMA. Then go to Philippines for 30 days and do Knife and Stick training for 30 days. Then come back to Thailand. Well I think if I do that for a year I will benefit a lot. My primary goal is fitness and self defemmnse. My last 2 months in Philippin es will be to find some Filipiino Cops and Marines to train with. Mostly firearms and weapons training with them. I am not young at all. I am actually pretty old. But when I was younger I never had any money at all. I am not at all wealthy but I get $1400 month from US military. But I was in Navy so I did not get a lot of combat firearms training. So I do have an interest in that. Once the Covid goes away I will look into visiting.

Whats the gym membership fees for mma annually
100,000 baht for one year and it includes Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Weight Room access.

Does aka provide accomodation?
There are travel packages available at akathailand.com that do include accommodations, and accommodation upgrades. However classes are currently canceled due to a Thai government mandate concerning coronavirus. We will resume classes as soon as we are able to.
