Neither...just one of those things. The B's started before '79, and were gigging most of the early songs in '78. Something was in the air. Plus, it wasn't easy to hear other non-mainstream bands back then. This would have been an import record.

That autumn of '79 was one of the finest periods in UK music ever.
Probably the best live band I've ever seen and Lesley's stage presence was as thrilling as the music
