- Today I will play the Pax Britannica Mod for Hearts of Iron 4. It's an alt-history scenario for HOI4 in a steampunk setting where the UK dominates the world in which the American Revolution failed. Recently they added a new focus tree for America where a small group of patriotic rebels can get their independence from the UK.

Smedley Butler was a real marine general who was offered an army of 500,000 veterans to march on DC, but he turned it down and reported it to the HUAC instead

The Business Plot wasn't real. No evidence except Butler claiming his political opponents tried to buy him to turn traitor. Congress, unsurprisingly, didn't believe him.

@@Bob-fh4ht Basically Buissnesses we’re unhappy with the government so they planned to use Unpaid veterans from WW1, lead by Smedly Butler, whom was an anti-war activist who participated in many Coups in Latin America. He turned down the offer and instead reported it to HUAC

I always enjoy when people prioritize story over stats, like declaring the congress or *not* committing war crimes when invading the Kingdom.
Honestly m yvery first SCA playthrough I didn't commit warcrimes because I only had two research slots.
I'm not gonna research poison gas when I need to research manufacturing improvements.
That's what I didn't like about iSorrow's run playing as the 2nd continental army, because he went straight for the American dictatorship.

I felt something was off the entire time and I finally realized what it was. Melbourne is a city in in America in this timeline rather then a city in Australia. There are some other cursed stuff like this too as you can get Australian pm John Curtin as leader of the United Commonwealth and Bob Semple as leader of the UC aswell.

That’s so cool that it’s like the OWB Enclave Sub-Mod! It’s perhaps one of the coolest ideas I’ve seen in HOI4 Mods and to see it again is amazing.

You should try the infamous/famous pony mod, Equestria at War. It’s perhaps the best mod for HOI4. The focus trees and worldbuilding are the best. If you were to play I would recommend the Griffonian Empire, Colthage, Wingbardy, or the Griffonian Republic. Whatever you do don’t play the Dread League!!!
