There is more than one definition for "poor," i.e. "unfortunate," "sad," etc...in that response, they meant "Oh you sad little man if you think that way...." Which is funny because you are the one actually deflecting.

Hey the idea of the show is entertainment. It is totally entertaining to watch Joe come out of his bashful shell and try with all his might against contestants who have been dancing all their lives. This show is about entertainment if people are calling in it's because they are entertained and happy watching Joe dance. The judges keep downgrading the scores to get him off like they have in the past. And when they do that it's no better than a fix. If you're the best dancer in the world and nobody likes you or votes for you what kind of a show do you have? Go Joe!
