    Interesting you feel your productivity has increased. I'm pretty flexible (too flexible, really!) with my PhD, so maybe I should experiment with an unofficial four day week.
    I might struggle with the discipline though. So far I've basically just worked when I feel like it and not when I don't. But that can be a little dangerous in both directions.

      It depends on the working pattern of the uni. Do they expect you to be available on every working day? If not, defo give it a go as it condenses your working time and so you kind of have to concentrate better and be more efficient with your time. Plus a day off is good for you!💪

      @@jdknightingale They don't care at all when I work, as long as I get enough done.
