That was mesmerizing. I am so enchanted and amazed by the contortions of the dancer...they really were birdlike. And they way they all synchronized to make one large bird.. And the effects were so incredible, and the costumes are works of art. Everyone involved in this performance are masters of their crafts!

Beautiful and utterly captivating. I'ts so nice to see the Chinese appreciating their wonderful and complex culture and bringing it for us all to see. China has contributed so much to the world over the centuries, we really do want them to share their inspirations with us.
I agree completely. Lots of hand waving, but after a few minutes, it's all repetition. The costume is spectacular, but I did stop watching out of boredom.
Half the time, you forget it is not in fact a magical being you are watching...
