RIBOFLAVIN TEST - HYGIENIC DESIGN VALIDATION AT INOXPA’S PILOT PLANT

  • This video shows the process of a riboflavin test carried out to validate the hygienic design of the reactor and ensure that it is cleaned thoroughly using the CIP system at INOXPA’S Pilot Plant.
    The inside of the equipment is sprayed with riboflavin, the CIP cleaning system is activated, the reactor is rinsed with water and we search for any product residue using ultraviolet light. It would be easy to spot traces of riboflavin as it fluoresces yellow in this type of light. No riboflavin residue should be present in order to validate the equipment.
