    I'm glad I'm not the only veteran who got addicted to pills. And then I got hooked on herion for 6 years. At 32 I'm sober....addiction was so depressing and the hardest thing I have ever had to overcome

    Mike, like Zach I too had to change my mind on CBD. In 2016, i was having bad muscle spasms. Nothing was working great. Magnesium helped but wasn't great. I told doctor i didn't like how marijuana made me feel.
    Doctor then told me I might want to look into CBD. That it wouldn't make you high.
    I now use the lotion and drops, and have never looked back since.
    I believe it should be considered a medication and legal in all 50 states!

    I had a seizure a few years ago. I was immediately put on kepra. It turned me into a complete asshole. I was supposed to stay on it for a year or something (can't really remember) but after about six weeks I was like "I'm done with this shit."
    Fortunately, all I had to do was quit drinking. Go figure.
    I will say though, alcohol ain't no joke. I'm glad that seizure was enough to wake me up to what I had become.
    Also, it is extremely frustrating when you're telling the doctor there is something very wrong and they disregard it because you're not acting the way *they* think you should act for a particular injury or ailment.

  • @internet_internet
    @internet_internet ปีที่แล้ว

    Pharmaceuticals almost took my life from me before the age of 18.
    I had never taken or tried any other substance before, or even had a single sip of alcohol. I was anti drug and anti alcohol.
    My parents put me on pill after pill to seemingly try to give me an advantage in school beyond my already high-performing straight A’s and a few B’s here and there.
    The doctors never documented a single one of my monthly complaints about negative side effects, and instead their identical response month after month was word-for-word “Hmm, that’s not normal. Maybe you just need a higher dose.”
    My parents would force me to take them, and then force me to take other pills to combat the side effects of the first ones. They would tell me about every single pill;
    “You OWE it to us to try this pill.”
    “You OWE it to us to try everything that we ask you to try.”
    “The doctors would never give you anything that could hurt you. The doctors are only here to help you.”
    I went from being a nearly straight-A student with zero disciplinary problems to failing many of my classes, getting in one instance of ridiculous and blown way out of proportion trouble, getting sent to a juvenile detention school with zero prior disciplinary background, and ultimately having to drop out of highschool at the end of my sophomore year.
    Those devil pills and their negative side effects destroyed the entire trajectory of my young life.
    May god enact proper judgment upon those responsible for this type of evil, especially when forced upon children and young unsuspecting adults.

    RE Comments at the end of the podcast: The possibility of corruption in the US isn't a sufficient reason to refuse to defend the Nation's interests. Ukraine winning the war is in the interests of the U.S.A., Russia winning is bloody not.

Bless your miserable little hearts.

    GPS tracker the size of a "hair"?! I consider myself relatively technically proficient, but I am questioning whether that's possible. There is nothing on the market that is capable of GPS that size, even the power source would be 100x the size of a human hair. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he is lying, I just think he's either misremembering or its a gross exaggeration. Regardless I respect, and honor this man for his service to out nation.
