You know it’s going to be a good day when you wake up to a new Treasure Books video and you have to take so many notes that you can’t wait to run to your craft space. Absolutely love the journal! There is so much to learn when you venture out to different styles and although you say this was difficult to do, it still feels 100% Natasa to me. ❤

  • @user-gw5kb4in6x

Vintage and tea dyedplus inking all the edges is so much work and far overdone all journals cannot look old some should look fresh colorful and modern!

  • @miriamkivlehan3498

You are pure genius. I'm a beginner and was already struggling with how to approach a clean, bright, modern journal to gift to my sister who is not a vintage, grungy kind of gal. I had made up some pockets, envelopes and hidden paper clips using brights from paper pads but couldn't see how to style a signature or blend clashing colours. This video is amazing, now all I have to do is figure out a stripped back version as I have neither your skills nor resources. You have helped me break through the modernity block.... Thank-you so much 🙏

  • @annicabensryd1528

I looooove to see a journal that isn't grungy and vintage. I have actually been looking for videos like this, so thank you so so much for this. The journal is gorgeous and you explain it very well. I love it!

  • @Kayenne54

You've given my preferred junk journal a name. I've tried the "grungy" look a few times, and honestly, it feels to me like I'm palming off dirty pages or messed up writing spaces after walking all over them several times. My grunge efforts just look messy (to me), yet I do love them when other people create them - I'll admit to envy; and I agree about "stealing away writing space" with the prettying up (which is essential to the soul, in my opinion); using up the hoarded book pages helps provide the remedy to that "illness" called hoarding. As usual, a junk journal chock full of innovation, creativity, and inspiration. So much fun! Love the interactive elements. Every page is an adventure. What's not to love?

  • @retired.read.craft.cruise

I love this video so much. When you said you were going to go through it quickly, I was saying, "Noooooo, I need a two hour video from Natasa".

  • @Patricia.R.

Almost half way through.. had to stop the video. LAUGHING QUITE LOUDLY... I’m from East Texas, GIRL, YOU just about NAILED THAT ACCENT! you put a smile on my face today! Thank you. Now, back to the video! ❤

  • @erifnosimooreht

thank you for this video. honestly i was nearly into thinking i'm kinda out of place in junk journaling because the vintage style doesn't come naturally from me as it does from everyone. believe it or not, that IS a struggle town to me. you got me inspired to try some more of eclectic and modern-looking stuff and just to be more me

  • @susietruelove3657

Natasha do you ever let your brain rest you are the most inspirational junk journaling artist that I can't get enough of and you make me laugh love love love your videos

  • @tootsfour956

Natasha this is amazing! This is not my style either for the same reasons you stated. BUT it is beautiful! AND FUN. Please keep "rambling" in your videos, for there is much-loved instruction which helps us in our projects, plus your sense of humor comes through. You are so much fun. What a blessing you are to your family and all of you fans. In the future, I would love to see a start-to-finish tutorial of a cereal box journal. Many blessings and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

‘I ended up doing way too much, too many things in this book’…

  • @anyawillowfan

Regarding perfection - I always feel that imperfection always adds to handmade items as it shows the love that's gone into a completely unique item, rather than being yet another mass produced item.

  • @quinbee_creates

Doesn't matter if a feature is practical, people are buying these journals because they're unique works of art. If they wanted practical, they'd buy a bog-standard blank notebook for $2.99 at the local stationery store. Keep innovating.

  • @TheCraftydevilSpeaks

Don’t apologize for rambling while you talk about your work. It’s your thought process I’m most interested in. It teaches me where to look for inspiration and how to think outside the box. I look at objects in a whole different way. My studio is getting cluttered quite fast since I started watching you! I bought your book and love it! Keep rambling darlin’, and I’ll keep watching.

  • @louisakemp

This is the best Sunday afternoon treat. Love from South Africa

  • @connied3309

I love this fresh, clean look. I’m not too artistic with distressing or tea and coffee dying. Many times my pages just look dirty or like I spilled something. So the few journals I’ve made are mostly clean and “unfinished.” Your video is an inspiration!

  • @microdot153

Absolutely stunning journal. Natasa you may see " errors " here and there but they aren't seen on camera, and probably not in person by the majority of us. You really are so amazingly gifted and this shows in every single project you work on. Don't function on what you see as negatives, and function more on the hundreds of things you see as positive. I know we all tend to see our own errors, but in the realm of the total project what we have done is remarkable

  • @shulaney4639

Too much stuff? Never! What a gorgeous treasure!!!

  • @craftyone5419

I agree with other viewers that it is nice not to see grungy so much!! I have so many ideas from this video! I can't wait til I get your book that I ordered! Please keep chatting with us, it adds another dimension to this Fun!🍁🍄

  • @user-gv5cw4cc6j
