You know it’s going to be a good day when you wake up to a new Treasure Books video and you have to take so many notes that you can’t wait to run to your craft space. Absolutely love the journal! There is so much to learn when you venture out to different styles and although you say this was difficult to do, it still feels 100% Natasa to me. ❤
I looooove to see a journal that isn't grungy and vintage. I have actually been looking for videos like this, so thank you so so much for this. The journal is gorgeous and you explain it very well. I love it!
Almost half way through.. had to stop the video. LAUGHING QUITE LOUDLY... I’m from East Texas, GIRL, YOU just about NAILED THAT ACCENT! you put a smile on my face today! Thank you. Now, back to the video! ❤
Natasha do you ever let your brain rest you are the most inspirational junk journaling artist that I can't get enough of and you make me laugh love love love your videos
You've given my preferred junk journal a name. I've tried the "grungy" look a few times, and honestly, it feels to me like I'm palming off dirty pages or messed up writing spaces after walking all over them several times. My grunge efforts just look messy (to me), yet I do love them when other people create them - I'll admit to envy; and I agree about "stealing away writing space" with the prettying up (which is essential to the soul, in my opinion); using up the hoarded book pages helps provide the remedy to that "illness" called hoarding. As usual, a junk journal chock full of innovation, creativity, and inspiration. So much fun! Love the interactive elements. Every page is an adventure. What's not to love? 29:21 I've just realized that so many of *your* memories are going into every junk journal you create (even for sale). That is so touching.
You are pure genius. I'm a beginner and was already struggling with how to approach a clean, bright, modern journal to gift to my sister who is not a vintage, grungy kind of gal. I had made up some pockets, envelopes and hidden paper clips using brights from paper pads but couldn't see how to style a signature or blend clashing colours. This video is amazing, now all I have to do is figure out a stripped back version as I have neither your skills nor resources. You have helped me break through the modernity block.... Thank-you so much 🙏
I love this fresh, clean look. I’m not too artistic with distressing or tea and coffee dying. Many times my pages just look dirty or like I spilled something. So the few journals I’ve made are mostly clean and “unfinished.” Your video is an inspiration!
Absolutely stunning journal. Natasa you may see " errors " here and there but they aren't seen on camera, and probably not in person by the majority of us. You really are so amazingly gifted and this shows in every single project you work on. Don't function on what you see as negatives, and function more on the hundreds of things you see as positive. I know we all tend to see our own errors, but in the realm of the total project what we have done is remarkable
I agree with other viewers that it is nice not to see grungy so much!! I have so many ideas from this video! I can't wait til I get your book that I ordered! Please keep chatting with us, it adds another dimension to this Fun!🍁🍄
Natasha,I absolutely admire how you work! You are fun to listen to. That is a true artist that can experiment with new things. We learn new things along with you!🦖
You may have done a “new style” for you but I think you definitely took it to a whole new level! Bold, bright, colorful to say the least & stuffed to the max with “anything”! It all works on a different level of clever, well done & all so CUTE!!! Good job! Luv your talents! Happy Holidays!!! 🥹
What a beautiful and uplifting journal!! You did a fabulous job Natasha! The amount of time that it took you to put in that much detail in an album this size must have been incredible. You truly are a gifted artist! ❤
LOL “It’s an illness!” Hehehehe, it does feel that way sometimes but it is sooo satisfying! Like figuring out a puzzle! I’m an ISTJ and I started JJ’ling to combat my perfectionism. It is great freedom! I know many are true blue creatives but it’s super enjoyable for those of us who deep inclination for order. Like there is an optimal way to finesse beauty out the chaos!
Natasha this is amazing! This is not my style either for the same reasons you stated. BUT it is beautiful! AND FUN. Please keep "rambling" in your videos, for there is much-loved instruction which helps us in our projects, plus your sense of humor comes through. You are so much fun. What a blessing you are to your family and all of you fans. In the future, I would love to see a start-to-finish tutorial of a cereal box journal. Many blessings and Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Ms. Perfectionist! Don't be so critical in reviewing your work. Sometimes you point out things we would never have thought of...now it's in our consciousness. Your work is ALWAYS lovely. Go easy on yourself. You always have original, beautiful ideas, and your viewers love you and your work. I always get inspiration watching your videos! ❤
Doesn't matter if a feature is practical, people are buying these journals because they're unique works of art. If they wanted practical, they'd buy a bog-standard blank notebook for $2.99 at the local stationery store. Keep innovating. Also, the "...that was a fail. Now everything goes..." nearly made me snort water out my nose. It was a perfect instance of the Murphy's Law axiom (paraphrased): that which is broken will always work perfectly when demonstrated for others.
thank you for this video. honestly i was nearly into thinking i'm kinda out of place in junk journaling because the vintage style doesn't come naturally from me as it does from everyone. believe it or not, that IS a struggle town to me. you got me inspired to try some more of eclectic and modern-looking stuff and just to be more me
Natasa YOU ARE A BRILLIANT ARTIST. You second guess yourself and your crafts, but everything your fingers touch turns out Elegant. No inking and just look at how gorgeous you have done on every single page of this journal. Totally remarkable.
I received rolls of French lavender drawer/shelf liner paper from a friend. After lining my dresser draws, I had off cuts that I just could not throw way, the paper was so beautiful. Now I will use them for a journal & the smell will be lovely.
Always learning new stuff from you. This journal is right up my alley and it’s so fabulous, amazing and inspiring to see. I’m a tailor/seamstress and the sewing is great, so no worries there. Thanks so much for flipping through this! I’m going to watch it again ❤❤❤
I REALLY like this journal! This is more my style .. I get a little tired of seeing the old vintage, labels ect numbers journals.. thank you for this inspiration today🦋 Peace 🫶✌️
I guess I need to write all my inspirations down because they start from the beginning. I love the mesh pocket on the front. I have been adding trim to pages. Oh girl, it really steps up the look. I even made a mini ornament journal and sewed trim. So so spectacular! Yes, I have been wanting white paper! TY ❤❤❤ IM gonna dedicate all my days of Journaling to many many of your creative, inspiring ideas!!
The funniest thing is that you actually don’t realize how good you are. You keep making excuses for work that is always perfect in the eyes of your subscribers. You can achieve anything. No apologies needed. You are very much appreciated, you inspire us all, which is plain to see seeing how quickly your channel is growing. 🤪🥴😵💫
I could listen to you chat all day long presenting your beautiful work. Love your enthusiasm as it is so contagious and so inspiring that I keep telling myself not to watch these videos before bedtime because then I lay awake dreaming of all the goodies I can put into my journals.. I'm a total newbie so I have mega hamsters running around in my head wanting to do and make it all. Thank you for sharing your work with us...
Don’t apologize for rambling while you talk about your work. It’s your thought process I’m most interested in. It teaches me where to look for inspiration and how to think outside the box. I look at objects in a whole different way. My studio is getting cluttered quite fast since I started watching you! I bought your book and love it! Keep rambling darlin’, and I’ll keep watching.
This journal made my heart happy-so bright and cheerful. When I need inspiration I watch your videos. Like you, I feel the need to repurpose things that usually gets thrown out.
I super love ALL your work and it was your videos that originally got me started, but I will confess, I love straight lines and clean pages! You have so much talent, you can literally do any style and make it “Natasha”! Thank you sooooo much!!!
I am so delighted that you have done this journal. I am relatively new to this craft and trying to find my 'niche'; this is absolutely the direction I need to go. My stash consists of a multitude of more modern types of papers and embellishments and now I feel I can just put something beautiful together without having to worry about any particular theme. Thank you so much XXX.
Gorgeous, I'm really drawn to the clean style. It's nice to know that you try things out of your comfort zone with all your experience. Enjoy your videos, you're a wonderful teacher!
This journal is actually quite beautiful and shows those, like myself, who maybe don’t have all the fancy materials and tools (oxide inks, stained paper, stamps, etc.) that it’s still absolutely possible to make a junk journal, and a gorgeous one at that. I love the clean look, just as much as the distressed look!
Love, love, love, all of your inspirational ideas!! But also love the accompanying banter. Finding your little reminder list that you had FORGOTTEN all about, is classic!😂
What a beautiful journal, everything about it is just beautiful! I have to say I never thought of your previous journals as vintage or grungy, they all look so perfect and meticulous. Even when you ink all the edges and use coffee dyed papers your journals are so clean and perfect and pretty! You are such an inspiration to anyone who watches your videos. And you're so much fun to listen to! 😊
I love it! It's so bright and beautiful. I'm not into grunge all that much and I struggle making things grungy. Since I haven't been making junk journals very long, and I'm trying to not go overboard on stash, I'm mostly using white paper. Also I'm using a lot of downloads that I print on white paper. I have found different papers that had forgotten about. I have resume paper, large striped computer paper and other papers.
As you were telling us about the struggle of getting out your comfort zone, you opened up the book at the page where it says "fall down seven times", which is a very fitting image (42:55). That phrase is actually the translation of half a Japanese proverb that says "nanakorobi yaoki" (七転び八起き): fall down seven times, get up eight. It means that it doesn't matter how many times you fall (seven), if you get up once more (eight). One of my favourite proverbs ^_^
I love this! I don't do all the tea dying stuff. Can't really be bothered as I have a disability in my dominant hand. So I need a little less is more. But I love how much you put in to it as it shows so many possibilities. I can pick and choose what might be easier for me to try. 💖
Thank you for this. I’ve been trying to figure out a journal that isn’t grunge. I want to make a journal for my sister and she would absolutely love this. So many great ideas. Thank you
Fabulous journal! Very inspiring to "break new trails". So many great ideas! Good to take a paus from the vintage grunge style. See with new eyes and return refreshed with a bunch of creative ideas! Thanks for sharing 🤗🕊️
Regarding perfection - I always feel that imperfection always adds to handmade items as it shows the love that's gone into a completely unique item, rather than being yet another mass produced item.
Every journal you make is a unique treasure. I enjoy hearing the enthusiasm in your voice, I don't hear rambling at all. You continue to be you, because everyone loves you just the way you are. Thanks for sharing your time, talents and inspirations. Take care young lady and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
I like to see something a little brighter every now and then, and especially without digital printables lately. Although I do like my grungy stuff. Thanks!
That journal is just beautiful, the amount of work that went into it, you can not set a price. I like that it's not grunge and decorated too much. Just fabulous, thanks for sharing.
I love this journal. You are my Junk Journal hero. When I think of something I want to do, but don’t quite know how I go to your channel and there is a tutorial. I love that you don’t use digitals, so many channels use them and not everyone has access to them. Thank you for sharing your creative, MacGyver brain. You are brilliant at using what you have and making it beautiful.❤
Thank you so much for showing this journal. I am one of those people who started scrapbooking many, many years ago and have hundreds of 12x12 pages just begging to be used. This long weekend has been spent putting my first junk journal together while binge watching your videos. Thank you again for the inspiration. Greetings from Hervey Bay, Qld.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! You did such a GREAT, WONDERFUL creation and I Love it all. You never talk to much for me. I am learning a lot. Thank you for being YOU PLEASE do not change ❤❤❤❤.
Well, Natasha, if this isn't your style (I understand) it is one absolutely gorgeous looking journal. You did an outstanding job in creating it. I love it - as well as all of your others. You are definitely an inspiration to me. Thank you for sharing your creations with all of us.
This is my favorite channel and I love your style of videos. I am a happy camper when I see you have shared a new video with us. You call it rambling but we get so many extra goodies and ideas when you do that. Thank you for sharing another beautiful creation. There is a place for all styles and I don't think you are capable of making a journal that is not stunning.
I love this journal!!!! I prefer the clean journals and this is so beautiful! I especially like the touches of gold sprinkled throughout the journal. I'm impressed by the amount of detail you put into it despite your struggle with unfamiliar territory. You're the best Natasha! ♥♥♥♥
You create such creative tutorials. I have only been creating junk journals for a few months, but I already feel as if I'm so far ahead of where I would have been if I hadn't found our channel. I love this journal even if it isn't your style, you nailed it! You are so entertaining as you narrate, and I love how you lead your audience down the path effortlessly, even explaining your processes and challenges. Your personality comes shining through as you are so natural with your presentations. I feel as if I'm in the room with you watching such a creative person actually create. I wish I had time to watch all of your tutorials. If I did, however, I'd never get started on my own junk or art journals. Just love your channel so much. Thank you for sharing your artistic gifts with your audience. You are truly a "treasured book" yourself!
I love the video and your rambling…the rambling is because you were out of your comfort zone. That is how I felt when I began learning how to distress pages. Now I am a happy either or person with the preference for distressed. It was good to see your journal page by page and how you embellished without distressing elements. Very inspirational…thank you!
WOW… you do amazing work! ❤❤❤ Your talent is awesome and I can’t only Thank You for sharing. I started my journal making about a year ago. One of my employees lost her sister and knew that I personally did my own journaling. She asked about having a special book just for her about her sister. I made my first sunflower journal and I loved the process, the relaxation that I got in the process and most importantly I loved the joy it brings her each time she uses it during therapy. Thank You again! I hope to buy your book and a journal from you soon. One question, when making your journals do you always go into it thinking of a theme or not? Take care and please keep sharing with us!!
Thank you so much for sharing this "clean" journal. I make for myself journal pages without distressed inks that are cleaner more modern so this was a wonderful sight for me to see. I love all the ideas and always enjoy your creativity. All are very beautiful to look at. Thanks again for taking the time to show us another side to junk journaling.
I love the idea of stitching around the journal pages, I think it gives them a cloth appearance. I love all your journaling ideas, you are very creative. Also your title Treasure Books is perfect for your youtube channel., because each book you create is your own personal treasure. ❤
What a joy to watch. Just when I thought your journals couldn't get more beautiful, along comes another gorgeous and deliciously inspirational video that proves me wrong. I'm already jealous of the future recipient of this "Treasure Book"!
I love it! I have always wanted to make the vintage style books but I lean more towards the clean look so I was thrilled to see this video. Great work and I love your ramblings and all that you share with us. God bless you and Merry Christmas!
Wow I really love this journal that you have made here. There are times that I just want a journal to write lots of messages in. Thank you for doing this and sharing it ❤️.
Natasha, I have learned so many journal tricks from you that I have put into some of my journals and the most pages that I have done in each signature is 6 pages and have anywhere from two to four. I am going to try and do 11 pages to see how I do on it. Thank you again for sharing all of your creative mind. When my husband was alive he would always tell me that he would love to pick my brain because of things I have made from paper.
Thank you ever so much for sharing so much of yourself with your incredible spirit and inspiring ideas! You are changing this world with your beautiful heart and soul! ❤
Dear Natasha, you make so absolutely great journals, I cannot believe how many ideas you have, absolutely great and perfect. Thank you so much for showing us, I love your Videos so much, yours, Gerlinde
YES, I opened YT and saw this and was like YES!!!
This journal is amazing (as usual). Every single page is a gem and I had to laugh when you showed the totally naked page…..!!!!!!
You captured my sentiments exactly!
Thank you so very much!!!
and I didn't need to say a word LOL..........Perfectly said!! Happy New Year Crafters...........I love her video's as well
I looooove to see a journal that isn't grungy and vintage.
I love this video so much. When you said you were going to go through it quickly, I was saying, "Noooooo, I need a two hour video from Natasa".
Hehe thank you
Yay for clean and new and not stained and grungy...that is getting a bit stale 😊
Great comment

‘I ended up doing way too much, too many things in this book’…
I ❤ that that sentence ended with ‘which is just PERFECTION in my eyes’
Hehe thank you :)
I love this fresh, clean look. I’m not too artistic with distressing or tea and coffee dying. Many times my pages just look dirty or like I spilled something. So the few journals I’ve made are mostly clean and “unfinished.” Your video is an inspiration!

More treasures! It’s refreshing to see a ‘clean’ journal.

I’ve always wanted to see regular paper used, but some how your regular paper looks spectacular. It always looks rich no matter what you use. Bravo

TRUTH People don't realize how much they could be helping you when they decide to "step outside of their comfort zones".
I never get sick of your channel. You inspire me so much. It’s 121am in Nz and I’m not tired and glued to you you tube channel . Thank you
Stone paper is made with polyethylene so that’s why it’s hard to rip… poly=plastic-like.
I love the HUGENESS of this jj!!! 💝
You are the G.O.A.T. of junk journals. Thank you for sharing your genius. The ideas you share are inspirational and are helping me up my game.
Очень, очень красиво!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you ❤️
You did a beautiful job, don’t sell yourself so short, you have many skills that can go beyond your comfort zone. Thank you foe sharing.

I like to see something a little brighter every now and then, and especially without digital printables lately. Although I do like my grungy stuff. Thanks!
I totally agree!
Whatever you touch comes out beautiful.
Thank you!
BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤ I LOVE THE BOOK PLATE JUST HOW IT IS ❤
Thank you so much for showing this journal. I am one of those people who started scrapbooking many, many years ago and have hundreds of 12x12 pages just begging to be used. This long weekend has been spent putting my first junk journal together while binge watching your videos. Thank you again for the inspiration. Greetings from Hervey Bay, Qld.
Lots of fun, colorful, and so many great ideas to steal! ❤❤❤

I really like this. It's so crisp and clean. It reminds me of Spring.
I think I have just fell in love with my first Journal that is not t dye ,coffee dyed ,love the colours .
Thank you for making such a colorful journal. It was a wonderful change as I'm not really into vintage. ❤
This is a BEAUTIFUL journal! I’m so inspired to make one for myself! The edges are divine!
I have been waiting for so long for someone to do a "clean" journal. Thank-You! This is so awesome and perfectly what I am looking for to get ideas.
Thank you so much
Clean and white is my favorite.
I can totally see why! I thoroughly enjoyed making this journal :) Thanks for watching
I love this journal!!!! I prefer the clean journals and this is so beautiful! I especially like the touches of gold sprinkled throughout the journal. I'm impressed by the amount of detail you put into it despite your struggle with unfamiliar territory. You're the best Natasha! ♥♥♥♥
OMG!!! You make the most beautiful journals and ephemera, just amazing talent. Thank you for your creativity which inspires us all.
Thank you so much!
😳That's so cool that you did something different then your
usual!😊😻
Absolutely beautiful! You do ALL things creative very, very well! 👍✌️❤️😊
Super refreshing! Love to see all these wonderful ideas! Thank you!
Another absolute winner. I see I am not the only one that takes down notes. I really love all the colours, going to be fun making this journal.
More ideas to learn and love every think you do.Thanks
I love the idea of stitching around the journal pages, I think it gives them a cloth appearance. I love all your journaling ideas, you are very creative. Also your title Treasure Books is perfect for your youtube channel., because each book you create is your own personal treasure. ❤
I love all the new ideas. I am naturally drawn to light and bright colors but I really love your ideas in these colors too.
Thank you so much!
This is such an incredible journal Natasha!!! Pretty colors, secret gifts, and cool papers. 🌹
This is such an inspiring video. Thanks for sharing, Natasha. Have a great day. Sending big hugs Sherry ❤ ❤❤
I appreciate you and your channel of inspiration. Thank you. 🌱💛
