The reason I'm asking is that usually kids whose parents are from the subcontinent origin Asians like India, Pakistan, BD, Srilanka usually have that natural connection to the game. So its quite a surprise to see an American asking about the game since most of them sees it as a boring version of baseball. Anyway good for you mate. 👍
I have been playing since Ashes Cricket, I play Legendary AI, and everything on Medium, so far, so I am an average player, these pointers and in depth explanations helped a LOT, I hope get good at Hard and Harder soon :)
Hey if u play against small teams like scotland,zimbawe etc and if u perform well.They slowly start picking u against big teams like england,india,australia etc.and also in tournaments like CWC and Champion trophy.
you have to wait the same amount of time, you don't need to waste your time against Zimbabwe or Scotland, keep playing good cricket against big clubs in big leagues, it's the same thing, after some time you'll get offers for big tours and championships
give it a go but I'd recommend going into custom settings and making your own difficulty, one which is harder than Hard but not as Hard as Hardest cuz Hardest is a bit unfair, like you'll get everything IDEAL but still get out.
Great vids man, keep em coming. Question: a quick guide to time a six, let alone a boundary, on Normal difficult. Im stuck in career mode for some time now, even though have worked the camera angles to improve timing overall but just cant hit boundaries at will and always would have to rely on either a short pitched bowl or a very fine off-side good length. Will appreciate some help buddy.
it's not that simple, every shot and every delivery has different timing, so it's hard to explain, I'll try to make a video soon on how to bat, it'll be on hardest difficulty though since that's what I play on. I'm it translates to every difficulty though
In practice mode when i set length or when i set it as marker, it doesn't follow tht settings... Bowler bowls random length and so its difficult to practice... Please help!!!
hello bro, I have something to ask I have someone who I play with online… he just packs the off side with fielders and put a mid-wicket fielder on leg and one on the on side so just 2 fielders on leg side and 7 on the off side and all the balls he bowls is full outside off or full angling to wkt (all yellow balls) , how do I counter him… please help me

I’m not sure what you mean by which stadium, if you are asking what that stadium is called then idk it’s just a generic stadium. Orange OK means late, green Good means early, and there is no way of knowing how fast the ball is gonna be bowled, you just have to watch the ball and judge it yourself.
When I use a toggle on standard, for example, the unorthodox toggle, when do I toggle? While the bowler is running or after the ball is delivered? Also if I want to go back to normal shots do I toggle off during the runup or after it is bowled? I've found it difficult to know whether it is toggled or not during the game and wondering whether u knew how to do it.

Like I explained in the video, if the marker is blue, front foot shot, if the marker is on the legs, leg glance, if on the off then off side shot or straight shot, but if you are too uncomfortable with the yorker then you can just block & run
Sir i have a question to ask what if a opposition keep on bowling short of lengths ball in that case i have seen the video very closely to play backfoot shot but when it comes to shot placement and executions to tackle that situation when the opposition has placed 3 to 4 filders out side of the circle...
aim for the behind fine leg area if fielder are on the off side or aim for the sweeper area if fielder are on the leg side, those shot are very unrealistic but it works like a charm I failed to mentioned that in the video, you can play lofty or grounded, just give yourself room when playing on the off side and move in when playing an offside delivery on the leg side, it's not easy btw you'll have to work at it a bit to perfect it

I'm playing this game on hard batting difficulty since last year and I have experienced that for example in a T20 match after 6 overs it's almost impossible to pick gaps between fielders at long on and long off and same between fielders at close.. the issue is that the ball stay in air for long time.. reminds me of ea cricket 2005.. where the player's speed was faster than the ball hit. I think ashes cricket 09 and ea cricket 02, and 04 handled this gaps system very greatly. I hope cricket 21 has this issue solved !
Yeah that's because of the field restrictions. I find this annoying as well as it gets near impossible to safely hit boundaries. Just gotta take lots of 1s and 2s when that happens

Hey man, I wanted to know how to figure out if the bowler is bowling inswing/outswing. Also, I always get out to leg spinners because I cannot pick whether it’s a googly/leg spin.
@@CricketAffanatic Yes I have changed it to A, which is way easier to reach with just the thumb and is so instinct that if i want to hit, i flick the right stick, if I dont want to then I progress my thumb to A (btw i use classic control)

@@CricketAffanatic I agree but it's confusing because in training mode it says the circle around the ball indicates which direction the ball is going to move but it's really hard to pick on it. Nevertheless, thanks for confirming! Now I am relieved I am not missing out on something. 👍🏽
@@CricketAffanatic Standard controls. I am playing in Hardest mode. It's pretty difficult to get the timing right. Its too quick. It will require a lot of practicing I guess. If you have any tips on when to exactly press the buttons to get ideal timing it would be very helpful! 🙂
Okay no with standard controls you can’t tell but if you play on classic then the circle appear half, and the ball turns in the direction of the half circle. And for hardest I mean hardest is a bit unfair, even if you play a perfect shot with 3 ideals for shot choice, footwork and timing, you’ll still get out. If you watch my latest career mode, that has happened to me so there is no way of telling when to play.
How would you do unorthodox shot on switch. I really like your videos and your tips help me a lot. I only know how to do reverse sweep that’s it and I don’t think that’s an unorthodox shot.
so grounded shots are always safer, but you can use aerial shots in some cases with safety too, so if you have fielders on the boundary then use Grounded shots, cuz you don't want to get caught, if the fielders are inside the circle then you can try to use aerial shots. Both are effective but you need to smart about it

Did u download the county and umpires? And also in the career videos try to add a few funny clips like u did in the career mode return video. It makes it fun but try not to overdo it.
Why hardest is unfair? BTW tell me physics settings, I want ai to play more aggressive in 50 overs because in 50 overs I am beating ai in every difficulty.
In my experience, I play a perfect shot, shot choice = Ideal, Timing = Ideal, Footwork = Ideal but I still get out. So that’s just not fair. I don’t change Physics settings at all so I can’t really help you there.

Legend is harder than Veteran, and I agree Hardest is unfair, which is why I have created my own custom difficulty which is harder than Hard but not unfair like Hardest

during the bowler's run up, so just click in the left stick to activate it and then click it in again to deactivate it

from settings and camera settings all the way at the end, broadcast 3 is pretty good for fielding
For batting which is good? So that I can see where the ball goes?
DW about batting, Batting is only for the batsman not the ball, if you want to see the ball the get fielding broadcast 3

You can’t figure that out, the whole point of this to deceive the batsman.
You can see a gap on the ball indicator the way a ball will swing or spin.
What's the control on an xbox controller to pad away / leave a shot? I can't seem to ever do it :P

TBH I am pretty good at good length deliveries somehow. But it is that short length that troubles me the most
that's my weakness, full length and short are easy to me , but good length troubles me a lot, specially medium pacers

reverse sweep is an unorthodox shot, that's exactly how you play all the shots just change the direction you play in
There is a question attacking shots vs grounded aggressive shots which is better

Legend is harder than Veteran, and I agree Hardest is unfair, which is why I have created my own custom difficulty which is harder than Hard but not unfair like Hardest

I play on Xbox, no lag, no settings required. Everything is already done. That’s why I love Xbox.
