'I played Season 2 yesterday after not having played Fortnite in months. One thing I quickly noticed is the players are significantly more skilled than they were 8 years ago. I thought it might have been a skill issue but seeing Ninja struggling this much compared to 2017 makes me feel a lot more at ease with myself ..

I just came back after 6 years and people are more skilled but even the top pups lobbies are still fairly easy compared to ranked or actual pros. Just spend a day in creative getting your building back and you will be fine most players playing og are also just coming back.

OG is not meant to be played in zero builds. The map was never made with that in mind and neither was the loot pool. I appreciate Epic catering to the zero build audience, but they should modify the loot pool to make the game mode more playable.
Loot pool is fine they just need to fix that annoying bug where bunkers clip through the ground virtually everywhere on the map
100%. Throw shockwaves in and it’s fine. Too many places that are impossible to get to or open areas where you’re an easy kill. Ideally grapplers too but even just shockwaves would do wonders
Zero build fine they just need to add movement
What are you all on? I got maybe four wins in Zero Build Solos OG just in Season 2 alone. The map plays out fine for OG. 😂

@@Crazy_Alex_7667 yeah we did. But I wouldn’t complain if they did add the shockwave grenade, or those grapplers. It’s just convenient. Although the storm moving at that speed adds a sense of urgency. Unlike normal BR. It’s slow, so we’re just chillin. haha

If they were making a true OG mode they should have brought back everything, like ui, passes, ltms, etc. Without all the heart it once had it's a soulless, difficult mode, which won't change due to sweaty players. I personally think that without the features and player base from back then a more balanced og mode like the one from 2023 would have been way more enjoyable/popular. I feel like now that they see maybe listening to the players isn't always the right idea maybe they can make this mode better for everyone.
