Great video. Something for a future FAQ, do we know if Marvel plans to do Epics for every big title. I’m waiting for Cloak and Dagger, She Hulk and Spectacular Spider-Man, but I see Spider-Woman a s Ghost Rider requested often as well.
Yes, a good and often asked question! I can definitely do a video on this at some point, but I will say that you shouldn't wait for Cloak and Dagger. Marvel just collected all of the classic material in four trades that are Epic in every way but the branding. They are complete and chronological.
Cloak and Dagger: Darkness and Light
Cloak and Dagger: Lost and Found
Cloak and Dagger: Predator and Prey
Cloak and Dagger: Agony and Ecstasy
And a modern trade: Cloak and Dagger: Runaways and Reversals
In a future video could you talk about each line individually and which one epic is your favourite/least favourite?

But still I like the diversity of the whole community so I can hop to other creators and yeah many helped me decide my favourite collection.
I wish to stick with mighty marvel masterworks once I get to college as it seems the safest of all

That intro jam is legit awesome. You mentioned how they haven't yet made Epics of spinoff titles like Spectacular SM, my question is this: If they did make them, do you think they would be made to tie-in w/ there Epic predecessor (ASM for example) or start from scratch?
I think maybe both? They would for sure start from scratch as they all are fairly separate books at the start with minimal crossing over. However, once you get into the late 80s, things get messier. Will we get Kraven’s Last Hunt in full in Spec and Web? I doubt it. In that sense, these will compliment ASM Epics by dancing around the crossover stories.

Hey Kurtis, thanks for the video. Quick question: is the MOKF epic vol 3 still coming out? It looks like the solicitation for it has disappeared at Diamond.
I am not sure of the release date. It could be that Marvel has shifted the release to time with the movie’s new date, but I haven’t heard anything definitive at this point.
how on earth can you talk about what's included and not even *mention* the bonus material at the end of each volume? the alternative covers, or pencil drawings, or other features? wow.
