Thanks for this video! So many reviewers focus on the specs but the actual interface is just as important to me. I do find LG TVs take a really Long time to lead up the TV Guide for example. Which I can see happened to you here.
I had this tv from 2022, but it got broken (my fault). But i loved it so much that I bought it again (this, 2023 model). I bought it because of magic remote mostly because ai liked that joystick and magic remote function. Was easier to type something in the search with that… but my old magic remote does not work with this new version. So I wonder why LG did downgrade on that… it was such a unique selling point and I am very disappointed as a customer. Is there any way to make it work? It says tv does not support that function when I try to connect…
I bought the 65 and wtf , out the box there are 2 white shades in the top left corners, also to get to settings it takes at least 5 seconds to load! I’m thinking of returning mine, so you have any problems?
@@krlos_amg Sorry for the late reply. No I don't use it for gaming. I work in IT and wouldn't recommend this for gaming to be honest. Input lag is better then a lot of TV's but can be noticeable when gaming. HDR I find to be high quality but not mind blowing. It's just an excellent quality TV and at this price point, nothing compares.
Good evening, I would like to ask you some information about the TV I intend to buy 43UR78006L. LG gives the cheap control and not the magic remote Mr23Ga. If I buy extra the magic remote Mr23Ga I will be able to control the TV by voice commands? Thank you very much
Just ordered one of these but in 65".. was 53% off the regular price so yeah I hope it's good. I'm a sucker for a good deal and I don't mind waiting a bit for it to show up.
@@oxy84 Yes im happy with it's performance for the price I paid on sale. Especially the sound is a notable difference from my past 2 Samsungs, really impressive if you don't plan to use a soundbar or the like. One thing that bugs me tho is that I sometimes watch mkv files from a USB stick and on media that has multiple subtitle options the LG does not give you a choice to pick what language to show and instead uses the default which in my case is another nordic language.. You can ofc disable the subs tho. This is lame but seems to be true for any LG model at least according to Google. Overall tho I do recommend this product.
I just bougth this TV and im returning it. The menus are really slow. I press 1 button and takes seconds until the TV reacts. I will return it and get a tv with a better processor and a proper magic remote.
Is there a way to disable the screensaver feature? It keeps going in standby after an hour or so of inactivity, but I need it to stay on all day for work purposes
Hi, do you know if the HDMI sockets are 2.1 or not? just asking as the PS5 in HDR can't support RGB color if you use lower than 2.1 and I can't seem to get it to register 2.1 and I don't think it's my cable.
The feet so far apart from each other limit where you can put the TV. You need almost as wide as the TV. Im am glad though that there are still TVs without Android TV. Why would you let Google collect even more data about you? I wonder if there is a remote control available that does not have those streaming buttons. Those buttons are basically ads and they also look bad.
I’ve jst purchased this for my mum & I’ve rigged it up to her cable via hdmi Can you advise me how I set it up so when she turns tv on it automatically goes to her cable tv - it’s the only hdmi device plugged in Thanks.
Hi man and i am glad seeing your video. I need an advice. I have ordered an ps5 and a tv just like yours and home i also have a Sony Soundbar that connects by hdmi eArc/Arc (for volume control straight from the tv remote) but here is my dilema: Where should i connect my ps5 so i can play 4k (and maybe 120hz) but also controling the volume from the ps5 from tv that comes from the soundbar. If i connect the soundbar trough the hdmi port wich is eArc/Arc then could i control the volume of games from ps5 trough the other hdmi ports ? Btw how much storage has the tv and can i surf the web via a Google Crome or an Samsung Internet Browser ? Sorry for my many questions but i need your advices. And some other tips for the setup instalation or for the good user exxperience would help me very much !

Great review. Would you say the sound is better than Samsung BU 8000/ 8500? I don't want a soundbar. My tv is in a bright room so I presume the picture quality will also be better than the Samsung models? Thanks
Great vid. Literally the only vid on youtube lol. I'm thinking of buying this but would love to see it like from a few meters back on the recording cause it seems too close and some details look weird with the camera up close.
My problem with these motion upscaling systems is what you see at 18.15sec-18.16 sec. You can see the wrinkles on the man's forehead, and as he moves, the TV smoothen these little details, and thats really annoying. If head movement stops, details come alive again. Are those motion upscaling and other smoothen programs turnable? Every people look like they have baby skin. :)
I've just bought tye 50" as her indoors has buggered off and took the Sony Bravia Google TV i had. So picture quality I'm pleasantly suprised to be better than the Sony as well as the sound however everything else not so good. The remote is cheap and tacky so will have to buy the smart remote. The thing that's most annoying is no dedicated TV button on the remote for live TV, the TV button on the remote opens LG channels which I will never use th8s bugs me a lot. When using guide to look through channels its not great very plain looking and when you pick a chanel to watch you habe to press OK twice thats very annoying as well the information is very slow to update.. I aslo should have got the 55" like my Sony as I've watched a couple of movies on Netflix and Disney and I'm getting letterbox which isn't great, I understand it's so i see the whole picture but yet to find a fit to screen option. But still not bad for £399 but tye UI and remote really are poor.
