Indian Air Force Mirage 2000, IL-78 arrival for Exercise Cobra Warrior RAF Waddington 1 March 2023.

First visit of 5 Indian Air Force Mirage 2000A's & B's to the UK. They arrived late in dramatic wet and windy conditions in the fading light accompanied by an IL76 tanker.

It was horrible! Wet, cold and windy, holding an umbrella.

And effin hot in Summer; >45*C by 0930 am. Flying hrs 0500-0830 and at night. One Sqn of the three moves East or way South for a fortnight in rotation.

We should conduct large scale excercise comprising of Land , Air and Sea forces of UK, France, Japan, Australia and India. That would be a great learning and also collaboration experience for all the nations!! Just imagine the scale of the excercise!😍
