Yup that sums up Vancouver, expensive yet beautiful. There is a great shwarma place in Burnaby called Abdul's bbq. There is an amazing Korean restaurant in Lougheed called Hee Rae Deung
Crystal mall is just about 15min walk from my house. Its so my favourite place. I dont have the money to travel so im kind of glad i can find a little piece of asia in my neighbourhood. And the food is always great.
Have been to Vancouver a handful of times... it;s ok and as for taking your wife on a cruise well I say Yes sir. Took my wife on a cruise 21 yrs ago and we have now cruised 26 times. Glorious vacation!!!

Quang, you have to go to Richmond for all the good Asian food, and the Sea to Sky Gondola near Squamish! Also your wife is correct; it's known that Vancouver people aren't that friendly compared to the rest of Canada
Hey there Quang, as far as Phnom Penh it is usually the beef lac luc or the chicken wings. Actually I had the noodles you had there and I thought it was more on the bland side. Crystal mall actually has some really good food court food such as the Shanghai restaurant on the corner and Chao Shou Wang they have really good spicy beef noodle soup
Quang, sorry this is a late comment but for Phnom Penh restaurant the soup noodles are honestly only ok so it’s not because you got there early. What’s really good is their butter beef, rice cakes, beef luc lac, and of course the chicken wings that you got already! I work in the Chinatown neighbourhood so hopefully I’ll see you next time when you come back to Vancouver!

I'm from Seattle. The Pacific Northwest is beautiful in the summer, but unless you can handle nine months of grey skies, I wouldn't seriously consider moving there 🤣
There are some rude people in Vancouver but it depends on who you come across. Generally people in Victoria are friendlier. I’ve been there there some rude people in Vancouver but Quang is right some tourists are very rude.I think there are friendly people and rude people everywhere you go. Keep an open mind and just enjoy the experience don’t let those rude people ruin your trip. There are lots to do and see in Vancouver. There are a lot of great places to eat there as well.

When you go to Phnom Penh Restaurant in Vancouver, you need to order the butter beef, shaking beef (Bo Luc Lac) and chicken wings. They are famous for those items. Their Hu Tieu is not good.

Hey welcome to vancouver quang you are like 25 mins away from me as im not in th city but the just the housing areas. But theres a lot of asian food around lots specially in downtown and metrotown and Burnaby. Also in downtown be careful as some asian areas they only except cash no credit cards
