They are good, it didn't hit downtown Round Rock. It hit one of our big shopping centers and neighborhoods as well as one of our rec centers and Kalahari resort. The outer edge passed through my neighborhood on its way to Kalahari.

I have been there many times, food is really good. but yes they are very particular about their menu & sauces like once i requested to add some spinach or artichoke in my plain pasta, they said no can't do as it may affect the flavor of the item...it is what it is in the menu.

I don't know about Texas Bucket List...but they are good. Mandola's Italian kitchen (which has been around since about 1975) is by far the BEST Italian food in the central Texas area, if not the state....but I won't go that far for sure.

Just went today. What a disappointment!! We travel over an hour to get there and arrived at 4:15PM. The “manager” explained that there’s no pasta until 5PM! I asked him if there’s anything he can do since we travel so long. And the manager wasn’t able to, get this, serve pasta in a few minutes before 5 im an italian restaurant. Unbelievable that a local place cannot give that special local treatment. This is why franchises are taking over.

I live here and I think their pasta plates are pretty horrible as far as pastas go. Sure they have a good noodle, but you usually get a plate with noodles and next to nothing in them. Sauce was very plain. Super cheap on any meat or veg. I view this place as overpriced downtown drunk food. There are tons of places I'd rather eat.

Palermo is excellent. Easily my family's favorite restaurant by a long shot, and we've been coming here since 2015. Well, not "here," since this is the new location, but you get the idea.
My wife and I love the calzones (try sausage, kalamata olives, and hot peppers), my kids alternate between the taglierini and bucatini and the tomato basil or sugo sauces and always demand the meatballs. But you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, it's all incredible. The staff is very friendly as well.
It's all great ... except for three items:
    1. They recently removed online/takeout orders. Unfortunately Texas is filled with folks who ... how can I say this ... their level of education is such that they consider science an evil trick of satan that must be countered with prayer. Usually to a politician. As a result it is now and it's going to be a literal plague state for quite some time and it's completely unsafe to go out in public, so there's no great option to eat safely.
    2. Service times can sometimes be a bit hit-or-miss. Eat here if you want a delicious, relaxing meal, but don't go if you're in a hurry or absolutely starving. You may have to wait a while. I suspect this might be part of why they removed online/takeout orders, so maybe it's got a bit better.
    3. They're deservedly incredibly popular so it's hard to get a seat sometimes.
Still, we'll wait till covid is actually under control and perhaps return for a wonderful meal followed by a walk up the street to Three Star Candy Shop to get some ice cream cones for the kid's desert.
