Hiya Freya. Love all your antiques fayr purchases (had a mental block on how to spell fayr, not sure if I’m right). The tongs are for when you use a the old twin tubs and you’re doing a wash and boiling whites etc you use the tongs to transfer from the wash to the spinner. It’s far too hot for hands. Love the stone colour co-ord it’s stunning on you. Your colour to wear is definitely creams, stones etc. Love all your PR packages, you’re so so lucky and deserve them but don’t take any of them for granted xx😊

I've just been looking for my winter clothes I packed away in spring and realised I really need to arrange a charity collection of bedding we no longer use or need - still haven't found the clothes though 😄
Hi Freya an old fashion tip if you have a square headscarf put it over your head and face and slip the jumper or top over it to stop your makeup getting onto the collar and the rest of the jumper or top Xxxx

I remember suede in the 90’s it was cold and uncomfortable
The tongues were used to lift the washing out into the sink to rinse or into the spinner . Great video x

I can remember my mum using these exact tongs to lift out the wet washing from the twin tub washing machine, to put in the spinner part of the tub.
