Today we are using 21pcs 18650 cells to make a 12V battery pack, The capacity of a single battery cell is 2600mA, and the discharge rate is 3C.
Firstly, assemble the 18650 special brackets in three strings and seven parallel configurations, When installing, the polarity orientation of parallel battery cells is the same, while the polarity of adjacent series battery cells is the opposite.
Next, we will use nickel strips and spot welding machines to connect all the battery packs together, and the nickel strips will also use 18650 battery-specific nickel strips. When welding nickel strips, it is necessary to leave one end of the strip slightly longer to facilitate the connection of the collection cable of the protective board.
Next, we will start connecting the protective board and battery pack. High temperature-resistant double-sided adhesive can be applied between the protective board and battery pack for fixation, or an epoxy board can be added between the protective board and the battery cell to increase insulation.
After welding the protective plate, we use fiber tape to bundle the entire battery pack to ensure the battery shakes and falls off during long-term use.
After fixing the battery pack, we will use thermal plastic film to wrap the battery pack.
