Both my wife & I are taking part in the NHS Galleri trial of this system. Only involves a blood sample being taken three times, each of them a year apart. I must admit, it is a very small contribution for all of the good things that the NHS has given us. We hope that the trial is a success and that the test is rolled out in the near future.
Thanks for doing it, every bit of progress in the medical field is equivalent to gold in my view, kinda wish I could join up for this also. A comment below I see in the feed says how this would be good for being a yearly checkup, that would be lovely.
@@FuuzBeeen It would be lovely. Cancers caught early are often much easier to treat successfully. Here's hope for a successful trial and roll-out. Alan-F.
Most people don’t have symptoms til it’s very late. If we used screening tests as a matter of course that would be ideal.
Always a good marketing tool for cancer treatment mRNA treatments ready to be rolled out.

I participated in a trial run of the process of the 50 cancers detectable in the test I tested negative for most, a few run in my family so it wasn't surprise to see I have a propensity for developing cancer, with diet and monitoring it can be caught before it gets out of control. It's a good test, I hope it becomes part of your yearly checkup
@Delano Nourzai Your boyfriend and wannabe lover Tate is happy with your trolling.
Why am I seeing a COVID-19 Vaccine tag on a video about cancer screening?
Can a normal blood test show signs of cancer?
Myth: A blood test can diagnose cancer on its own. Fact: Many cancers cause hormonal and metabolic changes that are detected by a blood test, known as tumour markers. But usually, a blood test on its own isn't enough for a diagnosis. The results could be caused by other conditions that aren't cancer.
Finally someone who can actually deliver unlike Lizi Holmes
Well, if you have symptoms of cancer before you take the test, it will only really reveal late stage cancers which a PET scan at that time might also achieve albeit at more cost but at higher accuracy. The real advantage would be in a noninvasive test which would detect cancers in the early stage long before symptoms occur when treatments are the most efficacious and prognosis is most positively affected. This is the holy grail as it were.
My unmatched perspicacity coupled with sheer indefatigability makes me a feared opponent in any realm of human endeavour.
Well I went into hospital because I had knee problems I still have them , they didn't even take an x-ray, I was suffering from cracking in my bones, and fatigue, all they did was right me a letter to give to my doctor to have a blood test , which at 45 years of age I have never had even though 20; years before I suffered alopecia at the back of my head and Dr said it was hereditary and would not grow back , 20; years later it grew back,
I had to request a blood test , because I was told otherwise they won't check
If I don't do my job I get suspended or sacked, but the hospitals and Drs are in my opinion waste of time
Still I have knee problems and was told to exercise and od knee stretches
When I was 12 years old , I chiped a bone in my ankle and was given an elastic sock and told to rest it for 6 weeks , as an active child I obviously couldn't and i still till this day twist my ankle easily, and was told later on in life they should of put a plaster cast on it
I was an ethnic child in a predominantly English area , so I wonder till this day , if that is why they didn't bother with me, because as being from indian origin we don't get that tall , I e I'm 5.7" and loved football as a young man but was told to be good a football you have to be big and strong, by school staff and the indigenous around me , and look at Messi
Medicine is not making people feel worthless, and neglected
Is this blood test commonly available? If so, what is it called? What’s the name of the blood test?

the only major problem with cancer is it's very unlikely to get detected before it's too late.
After Theranos, I’m incredibly skeptical.
Please tell me what my crazy mom is talking about when she says doctors know about a bed that can heal all diseases but are keeping it from us lol😂
Will be usefull to diagnose the upcoming wave of turbo cancers.

Sounds like theronos.
If I had to describe healthcare in the US with a picture. It would be a suffering man sick and crippled with bills in one hand and a piece of paper that says please help in the other while a fat doctor eats a steak off his back like a table.
Why is this giving me Elizabeth of Theranos vibes?
Cause its her test they stole after they said she was a fraudster and it didn't work.
The biggest cancer are the people that deleted Andrew's video 😂😂😂
@Leo Wightman Who is Andrew Tate? Immortal Virgo using 3 laughing smileys only tells me this Andrew most likely is not a good guy.
@Julia Richter he the biggest influencer in the world on normality , something the BBC has a problem with.
when will bbc cure after detection?
That's what i get abdominal pains , tiredness and i feel nauseous.
Abdominal pain, nausea are both symptoms of gastrointestinal bleeding. Tiredness results from the blood loss (anemia). You might have chronic low grade GI tract bleeding which itself could be a sign of inflammation of the GI lining and in some cases cancerous growth. You should have it evaluated as it carries some risk.
I don’t want to worry you too much but my late son who died of Colon Cancer had all of those symptoms before finally got diagnosed, 2 and 1/2 weeks before his passing. I really strongly suggest that you should insist on getting examined asap. My son’s doctors kept dismissing him saying it was unlikely to be anything serious because of his age(25) at the time.
@@kyokokashima1417 i will thanks 👍 i also get neck pains and headaches like back of my eyes pain . I hope its nothing too bad but i get my self checked

I was here to ask the same thing 😅 they scared to death of a normal man who speaks positively on normal behaviour, they would much rather champion perverts and weirdo's, que Philips new TV deal.
People really disliking a video about a breakthrough on cancer over a guy they're fanboying so hard. People, are you sure y'all straight?

Thanks to BBC news for such report about earlier cancer detection......
FYI The test cost $900
This is actually less expensive than what it takes to screen for cancer using machines and other techniques at this time. And this test screens for 50+ cancers, but the downside is that (at least in the US) you have to be 40 and up. Chadwick Boseman was barely in his 30s when he was diagnosed, so it needs to be open to all.
bro yall deleted andrew for what losers
they got wrecked by andrew and blocked the interview in the UK other than MAJORLY cut version on bbc iplayer but luckily tate recorded the whole interview himself since it was at his house lmao the BBC and left wing narrative just took a huge blow again, lucky for them they run this circus media so sadly this will probably get burried again.
Please apologise to Andrew Tate
Andrew Tate is innocent!
Shows promise for collecting DNA to enter into the surveillance system...... and sharing private health data with meta.
Who is to say that can't be done anyway during any blood test or medical procedure? When people are suspected of a crime the police can take an object (hairbrush, cup, etc.) they might have DNA on and test it.
@@Pou1gie1 "When people are suspected of a crime ".... and that's the thing "suspected" with reasonable evidence to back up that suspicion. Not default collection and storage.
