They are amazing!! I am in love with Chris Stapleton, his voice is what I grew up knowing country music is! Like George, Willie, Hank, Johnny, and so on, but the new guy is just as amazing as Chris. When Gary first joined on, it kind of sounded like he was trying to fill the gap that Chris left behind, but only Chris can be Chris. But now it's great to see Gary really settle into what really sounds like his natural groove. I can't wait to hear more.
Gary is one of the best singers I've ever heard, and the only person I know of that can give Chris a run for his money. Both musical masters in their own respects.

Gary is a bit better of a guitar player than Chris was. Chris was the voice, and the subsequent lead singers have echoed Chris, but each have also brought other qualities to the table that was their own, Gary's namely being that outstanding guitar picking, in addition to the voice. May the SteelDrivers live on forever!

Chris Stapleton got a big head. He went solo and left them high and dry. His replacement is better but for some reason the press is not promoting the band. I am a recording studio tech and I have worked with the band before and after Stapleton. There is a lot of talent here. BTW, this is not a good recording.
I'm a huge chris Stapleton fan but nobody can deny Gary's ability. The man can straight up sang. So much soul in his voice.
