- How many times have you heard somebody say "there's no #cure for #dyslexia"?
It turns out, even a quick search on Google comes up with - literally - hundreds of uses of this phrase.
But in using such medicalised language, we actually harm the #dyslexic children we hope to help. Find out how, in this short video.

Dyslexia is NOT a disorder, Dyslexia is NOT a disease, Dyslexia is NOT genetic. We don't want/need to be cured - we love being Dyslexic, we are the Visionaries, strong minded, bloody brilliant and we can see ghosts (well I can)
Love this sentiment Wayne! (although it looks like it might well be genetic... just not something to cure with gene therapy!) 🤩
@@DyslexiaBytes Mate, I am Whole Food Plant Based which can prevent and reverse Cancer, Dementia, Parkinson's, Diabetes etc etc, so I have done a lot of research on this and have come across validated research proving that the genetic thing we have is DNA.

Difference not deficit.
This seems a difficult concept not just vis a vie neurodivergence but also ethnicity, gender, and so much else
People are scared of different, sadly. And yet, we're all different...!
