Thank you! The tip about not having the e-brake on saved me. First time changing brakes and rotors and I watched three other videos that failed to mention this!
So I've seen in other videos on the same vehicle they did something with that hole in the rotor to adjust the hand brake. Did you have to do that? Why or why not? Thanks!
The other rear side of the car, which direction do you need to rotate loosen 17mm bolts? Mine looks like over-torqued. Also what is the bolt model number for 17mm, I want to change mine. Thanks.
always counter clockwise. and its possible. some mechanics will do that unfortunately. they stripped my oil pan bolt and tried to charge me for new oil pan. never went back again.
How do you fit a torque wrench in that limited space. The torque specs for the caliper bracket to knuckle are quite high its difficult to do in that limited space without a lift.
I am an idiot. , can someone tell me which way do I turn the ratchet up or down on the caliper bracket bolt to take off it's the right rear the 2011 Toyota Camry
@@matthill2957yeah I just. Sale auto parts. But I did finish the brake job. But you did not answer the question ⁉️ anyways in was caliper bolt , but the last. Guy who did the brakes put the caliper bolts on with the gun it was not easy to remove . .

Nice. Yeah I think I leaned the hard way one time lol
Had the rear brakes on and I have been fighting trying to put the rotor on, you video was a life saver
This is one of the most helpful videos I’ve seen!! I had a hard time with my back rotors and now I know why. My e break was on the whole time
Ha. Glad was able to help
Most videos zoom in so close you can't tell what they are doing. Good Job!
happy to help.
Very fruitful! Easy and clear illustration.
👊
Thanks for including torque specs!
NP 👊
Got that same Detroit kit from Amazon came with fluid, cleaner and grease
Nice 👍
Is it required to pump the brakes after each brake installation or after the entire job is complete?
Very thorough! Great vid!
Thanks 👍👊
How do I know my torque specific specs for my 2012 Camry le?
Thanks for the video.
You bet
Straight to the point and some expert lubricant placement makes a big difference. Thanks!
😂expert lubricant thats brilliant
Great video 👍🏼
You forgot the clip that goes on the pads. The indicates when you’re pads are low
Thanks for tutorial
Any time
WOW!!! well done.
Thank you!

I haven’t touched that. Maybe they adjusted if its worn out. Not sure.
hello there, im curious, when do you change your rotors, every what, every month or year?
About every 2 years I do the breaks/rotors. Depends on how much driving and style of driving

So I do t have a torque wrench, do you think I can just tighten it as much as possible?
My first jobs I did by hand. Just don’t over do it. I seen many mechanics do same , hmm
very helpful bro!!
Glad it helped!

Yeah got to get it lifted. Or need diff size wrenches to fit , etc. Won’t always be able to get one in there .
Great job
👊
Doesn’t the rear rotars and pads need to be torqued to 58ft lbs and 20ft lbs? Otherwise this vid is very helpful!
I think I mentioned. Will depend on Year/ model of car.
Is it the same for a 2020
Just make sure have right parts. Idea is the same.

Counterclockwise.
Pause, if you dont know how to turn a ratchet then dont even try lol

WHERE A MASK OR BETTER A RESPIRATOR - if you clean anything in there with the brake pads and rotors and calipers
IT can cause cancer and lung damage
Yes agreed 💯
