A core memory for me is definitely when I met a K-pop fan in my engineering graphics class. I walked in had a Jin pc on my phone and she noticed it. Asked me if I was a bts fan nervous said yes and she said ahh me too and pulled out her yoongi cards. Forever happy to have those moments 😭

I agree with literally everything you said about K-pop.. like I have 2 friends who love K-pop and I feel so close to them but with my other friends I’m like close.. but it’s not as close as I am with those K-pop friends. And then I also have friends who listen to like rap music and trap music that have like a crap ton of swearing and I’m like “how do you listen to this”.. I get everyone’s different but like, all my K-pop friends are so nice and have I guess self control, when all my friends who listen to rap music, crack so easily and can’t take a joke and just start going off like… so yeah I agree 100% with y’all
